Having met Danny DeVito and his wife Rhea Pearlman while working at a theme park, I can tell you that they are indeed the antithesis of most of the characters they have portrayed. A thoroughly nice and polite couple who were quite friendly to all the workers. Their teenage (at the time) son was very polite as well.

Rhea Perlman once said in an interview (I’m paraphrasing), “I wish actress was just another job title, like teacher or nurse.”

I've often said we need many more male nurses.... really big male nurses. (35+ years of nursing and weirdos)😂
@lparky44095 ай бұрын
An elderly nurse I knew that if asked to assist Male patients was told by the sister to produce some large forceps with serrated edges, after which the Male patient would suddenly realise he could wash himself after all!

A former friend of mine was on work experience in an old folks home when she was fifteen or sixteen. She told me there was an old man that she had to help get dressed whenever she was there who demanded that she tuck his vest into his underpants, and she did it. I would have bluntly refused to help the old pervert.

I'm long retired now, but when I worked in the ICU, we had several males nurses, most of them average size. However, there was one who was 6'6", 330 pounds. Biggest teddy bear ever for the staff and most patients, but whenever we got a belligerent male patient in who roared at the nurses and aides, we'd just ask big Nurse Dude to come into the room. NEVER failed, the patient would see this giant walk in with a deep frown on his face and a growling, deep voice that boomed out, "WHAT SEEMS TO BE YOUR PROBLEM??!!," and there would immediately be a quavering squeak of a voice--"Nothing, nothing at all, sir, nothing, everything's fine!" Nurse Dude would then help the female nurses do whatever needed to be done, and then he'd walk out of the room. Worked beautifully every single time.

@ 7:11 :D Anyone remember the movie Groundhog Day with Bill Murray? I read a joke years ago where somebody suggested that a "remake" of Groundhog Day be widely and thoroughly advertised and when it hit theaters *everywhere* excited people would go and all they'd see would be a repeat of the exact same movie we saw back in 1993. LOL.....

5:00 Unfortunately, Fyre Fest wasn't really rich people suffering. It was a bunch of regular people who got convinced by the value proposition of a 700$-1000$ for a week-long island paradise vacation and scraped together the money for it. There's no solid evidence that any of the crazy-expensive deluxe packages for the idle rich (that would have made up for the expected costs) were ever sold. Just a douchebag scam through and through.
