It's usually never that high. If you did buy that many it actually be a few cents cheaper and I'm sure that's how many the name brand company buys at a time they negotiate so they would most definitely be paying less the 4. Usually anywhere from 50-100 being the highest prices. Then discount anywhere from 200 above you'll see another few cents taken off at 500 and 1000 anything higher contact the company directly.

@@crustaceanking3293 and not to mention a good chunk of the cost that he fails to mention has to do with technology and not a status symbol. if you want hydroflask technology, you buy a hydroflask. that’s why you buy apple products if you like iOS/Apple OS, it’s not that it has a high material cost, but that it required money, time, and effort to develop that technology.

One more point - after sales support. Most 'premium' brands don't get where they are just because of pure marketing. They're generally well prepared to back it up with after sales support. E.g. My buddy's friend had a Rimowa luggage bag (>$500) that had a faulty wheel after he had landed overseas. He brought it to the closest Rimowa dealer and they had it repaired at no cost to him and loaned him a replacement in the interim. Granted Hydroflask isn't even in the same league, I'm sure they'd have no issues sending out a replacement part with minimal to no questions asked if you'd have an issue.

I can always get water sure but if I’m out in public I’d rather not have to buy water when I can just bring it from home. If there is free water it’s usually not very cold and there’s not just a fucking ice machine everywhere you go. What is so hard to understand about this concept? Also no I don’t live in the wilderness but I work in an area that is 30 minutes from the nearest store/restaurant so yes I’d rather have water to last me the day then have to take a hour plus to go PAY for something I could bring for free.

Okay now try and actually reach out to the manufacturer of any of these companies. Also, even if you do, be ready to wait for weeks or even months for your shipment of products and have to go through complicated payment processes that require copious amounts of time and patience. If you’ve ever ordered from alibaba, you’ll also know that you only get the cheapest price if you buy literally hundreds or thousands of these products
@daan8695

@@rurome2151 this only applies if you manage to find a retailer that is willing to do the intermediary work for a cheaper price. I’m directly referring to the video to show that it’s actually highly unlikely one would be able to pragmatically buy items directly from a manufacturer on a consistent basis without wasting copious amounts of their own time and likely will end up with roughly the same price anyways. Neither manufacturers or retailers are stupid, they value their time and initial investment enough to not just sell close to production price in single order batches.

You'd be surprised how many people buy things for the branding on it. Likely truth is that Hydroflask is bought out of convenience rather than the branding on it, though.

This is BS. Most people dont buy from the manufacture because you buy in bulk, and have a MOQ. So even if the manufacture sells it at $4 a pop, the MOQ is guaranteed to be around 50-100.

@@lavaphoenix753 idk what’s worse abt iPhones honestly. I have an iPhone rn and I’m really ok with it, haven’t encountered any problems so far since I have it. I used to have a Samsung S10 like 3 yrs ago until I switched to iPhones and nothing seems to have changed. Only the fact that Samsung stops updates on their phones way faster. 2 years with it and then no more updates. The iPhone 6 launched in 2014 and received updates until last year for iOS 15, that’s like 7 years of updates. Plus the battery life seems to be similar on both phones. My iPhone lasts around a full day and some hours more while using it after a full charge, which I’m not disappointed of.

@PeachesNPixels
@PeachesNPixels 2 жыл бұрын
@@TheAcidicMolotov usually i dont reply to comments but i dont appreciate people portraying me in this light because 1. First off, my major was relevant to mention because the creation of the hydroflask, or any water bottle that has “insulation” for that matter is based off math revolving around of a few simple chemistry laws. It was suppose to be funny because if you practice in chemistry youre all too aware of businesses using simple and sometimes old laws (such as thermal and energy laws) to create, in this case, a water bottle with what they claim to be “new” insulating technologies. It gets funny because there is no such thing as “new insulating” technologies, there are mathematical limits to creating the “best” insulated water bottle. That means there are many water bottles out there with the SAME insulation quality at way lower prices. So yeah, my major had great relevancy in my thoughts regarding hydroflask and is why i mentioned it. 2. Hello grammar police! Its youtube. I can talk however i want on here because the last time i checked youtube is NOT my lab or my classroom. This is actually so funny to me because did you expect us to be einstein 24/7 both in our professional and social lives??? Or did you expect us to be like robots with no personality or emotion? ...No seriously, im curious? Lol id change your views on people within the science field because some of the smartest working scientists ive gotten to meet are some of the coolest, down to earth people who could care less about their grammar and lots more when not attending to their research, etc. So, enjoy my shi**y grammar and the rest of your day!!! :) Also, my bad grammar didnt stop me from finding a toxic gene being contained within a newly discovered phage just a couple of weeks ago. That toxic gene is now going to be logged and sent for further research at a medical institute and plays a crucial role into building research on phage therapy. But hey, mY gRaMmAr DoSeNt MaTcH mY mAjOr. 🙃🙃🙃🙃
