Its a very deeeeeep emotional drama … a vivid picture of complex emotions … it shows a human is a combination of good and evil… there is nothing absolute evil or vice versa … Its not easy for a mother to accept her child suicide. Second marriages lead to problems specially after children. I know so many aunties who died living in toxic relationship… they were educated but still lived with the guy who abused them till death 😞 Mental poisoning happens not only cousins happens in brothers and sisters as well. Yes its tragic but then this is how things are for scattered families bht achi depiction hai… The trauma they have shown in this drama is real May be the drama is for niche not meant for everyone…. But literally hatsoff to all the actors … im loving it

Mehreen is such a passive character. She knew from the start that Aswad's bad views about her are due to Mashal's lies; yet, she never put effort to clear her name and prove that Mashal was telling a lie. In the last episode, when Aswad tells her that it would be hard for her to do master as her activities are not of a studious girl, she could have told him about her achievements and trophies, but she simply got hurt, started thinking about their childhood, and said nothing. She shouldn't keep everything in her heart because communication is the glue of strong relations.

The actor playing Shagufta is brilliant. Her acting gives that grieving mother vibe. Throughout, it has seemed to me that grand-mom feels guilty and sad to have separated Mehreen from her mother and that's why she mostly remains mum. I have a feeling that the focus w.r.t the murder will slowly shift to Aswad (jerk). Also, since the beginning I had this doubt- Aswad was so influenced by Mashal's pov about Mehreen. He was close to his mother as well. But at no point did his mother (apparently, close to Mehreen) talk about Mehreen's struggles or achievements with Aswad? Did she never share anything? It doesn't seem right to me because at the root level it's all about Aswad thinking about Mehreen from Mashal's perspective.

Usman Mukhtar is doing a great job being a jerk. The way his expressions changes is so powerful and real. Especially in the scene when he yell at Mehreen and the cup fell from her hand and he immediately regretted his behavior for a second. Showing his inner soft nature which he'd suppressed in the hatred caused by his guilt and regret, cause deep down he knows he's the one responsible for all this but he doesn't have the gut to admit his fault.

I dropped this drama after 6 episodes, thinking that I'll watch after 10 episodes when there will be some progress. Wasted my 3 hours of sleep and watched this drag. Everyone is coming to a realization except Aswad. Mashal's father at least has come to a conclusion that Mehreen is innocent and here is Aswad who sees her struggle everyday but still blames her. P. S. - watched it in 2x speed

I felt bad for Aswad in this episode. It feels like he is missing the 'old Mehreen' more than Mashal. He seems to be in love with her. the differences between them widened due to the lack of communication.
