The first ministers pension will be based on how long he was first minister so one year that will be 1/40 or 1/50 of his final salary depending on which funding option he chose as the first minister earns £104,584 per year he will therefore be entitled to 2k per year after the age of 65 as per the Scottish Parliamentary Pensions Act 2009 which was brought in to stop huge pensions unlike Westminster but hey-ho let's not let facts get in the way of a good rant

It was like Humza and the two Greens, Harvey and his side kick were running the country by working their respective ideologies on the public. Weirdly, neither of these 3 had much concern for the climate. Basically extremists and activists were running Scotland, their legacy is that they introduced a hate law (which was really a reflection of themselves), by appealing to the worst in human nature. Their extremism turned into a sort of mass hysteria, where there was only one game in town as far as the trio Humza, Patrick and Lorna were concerned.

The Scottish people didn't want an Islamist Moslem as First Minister but they had no choice in the matter. The same goes for the UK people as a whole who didn't want a Hindu of Indian heritage as Prime Minister but they had no choice in the matter either.

I doubt he'll be forgotten. The gender bill caused a lot of waves and opposition from everyone as it boosted the trans issue, by criminalising recognition of basic biology, just as the Cass report had exposed that industry, and for its deep illiberalism and promotion of a DDR-like informer society. JKR was a very visible white knight defender of Scottish freedom. So Yusuf may be remembered for the events that surrounded him, that he had allowed to build, and those debates and anxiety about free speech will be remembered. And...that law is still on the books and SNP still the govt and Yusuf still 1st Minister for weeks/months. Will there be a scottish election? Is this yet over?

"criminalising recognition of basic biology" - no-one is saying that trans men aren't biologically female or vice versa. Biology doesn't come into this. It is purely about identity and basic respect.
@tommykawaii

@@redacted3740doesn’t change the fact that one can’t choose his or her gender. No one should be forced into accepting a male is a female only because they say so. Period. Even more so when it comes to sports, trans-female can’t be in women sports and that’s it

@@ProsecutorZekrom don't waste your energy trying to explain that to people who believe that someone is living "an ideology" but not the life. It's just a shame. Used to work with a friend that's trans and i never, EVER, mentioned anything related to him or any other person when it comes to his/they identity. People don't get the point is extremely disrespectful. Trans people are what they are, and we don't have anything to say about it. Just respect the people.
