Now, unlike most of the people who commented, I happen to be among the consensus of people who actually *like* / *love* THOND2... ...& I couldn't help but giggle at this. XD Maybe, it's the juxtaposition of one of the funnier (I think) moments in the sequel with the dramatic music at the start & end...Ah, well, you still gave me a good chuckle on a very stressful day, & I thank you for it. :-) And don't worry--I won't go barracuda on you for disliking THOND2. ;-) To each their own, after all.

I couldn't watch more than 24 minutes of the sequel. And by that, I don't mean that I wanted to turn it off after 24 minutes. I wanted to turn it off after 2 minutes. I literally could not stomach watching past 24 minutes without breaking into hysterics.

@ultamatefrogmaster You're right, no talking gargoyles ! If I remember correcly, Quasimodo is actually deaf because of the loud ringing of the bells and he is one-eyed. I don't think anyone is trying to get rid of the gypsies, just Frollo because he's madly in love with esmeralda and he wants her. As for the Crucible, it's quite interesting by some aspects (I had to write several papers on it), it's about the witch hunt in Massachusets in 1692. It's religious

That does make sense. Oh yes! I've heard about that! I wanted to read that but I couldn't find it in the school library. Religious things fascinate and scare me at the same time. I felt like that when I watched Hunchback fr the first time (i was pretty much a baby just then) and I've just started reading the "satanist" for the same reason. How old are you? Are you studying English Literature for college or something?

@ultamatefrogmaster Yeah it's for adults, I read it 4 years ago (I think) and it was quite hard for me. A lot of description (especially the first 10 pages : description of the cathedrale, Yay !) but an interesting book, and the story goes a completely different way. Frollo is a priest, phoebus is an *sshole and the whole of it ends badly. I would have prefered to read it again last year rather than the crucible though

mmm, dunno about cry. Most deffiatly annoyed because the book was like for adults wasn't it? (i haven't read it. But it's on my list along with Frankenstein) and they made it into a kids version. But this one! Deffinatly. I even cried!!! Ok I didn't but I sighed a lot through it.

Eh, this movie is alright if nothing else because karma finally paid off for Quasimodo and he got a love life. Although it wouldve been better if they just made it some 15 min special on a HoND Premium DVD about Quasimodo and Madellaine and just ignored the rest of it -_-...

@VenusMy129 Why, this one of course! XD I mean, Brother Bear 2 wasn't as good as the first one either, but at least it still had good visual quality and a better plot. Now this... thing has been compared to a "freaking coloring book" by so many people it should have won a Razzie. It COULD be considered like a respectable attempt at something cute if only it weren't from Disney, but after the epicness of the original movie, I just can't take this "sequel" seriously. Yuck indeed!
