From the definition of Kung Fu in this video, every older woman that cooks Thanksgiving Dinner has Kung Fu. They're good at it. Somehow they manage to balance cooking and baking and preparing all those dishes at the same time and somehow manage to have them all done at the same time. And when you look at their faces when they do it, you can tell that they are in the "zone". I never get tired of watching them every Thanksgiving. A master at work!

Wushu is not a style. It's meaning is something like "Karate". The Chinese word "Wu" means something like "Martial" . It is formed from two characters which are "Stop" and "Weapon".

The words literally mean "Work" and "Time" The "K" spelling has become associated with an external martial art style. It is typically spelled and pronounced with a "G" sound when used in association with the Daoist internal martial art styles like Tai Chi Chuan.

Gung Fu does not mean "martial arts". It means exactly what One Hundred Eyes says it means. Don't ever try to teach Chinese language to Chinese.
