Not all work in restaurants. Here in the United Kingdom, l have some Chinese friends, and he works in the construction industry. Another works for the council, while the others work in software development. There's a Chinese restaurant in Scotland, and all the waiting staff are eastern european. Kind of a weird situation for Chinese American. The ROC flag is also a Chinese flag but nowadays the media promotes the idea “Taiwanese is not Chinese”. And there are Taiwanese who support hatred against Chinese, though they are against hatred on themselves. It’s funny how many comments are supporting anti hate, yet they are subjects of hatred when seeing flag. I guess that’s how the voice of Chinese Americans are suppressed.
