Hey Mark, as a Hungarian I must say you have made a better representation of what Hungary/Budapest is and what makes it great than any other video (Hungarian or foreign) could have/has had ever done. This is really what keeps people living here. Thank you for your great appreciation and brilliant video! Glad you liked your trip here!

For about a year I took care of a young Hungarian man. His mother a Hungarian immigrant had a story that brought me to tears. She would make some of these dishes for me and I could see the pride in her eyes when my eyes lit up on the first bite. Such delicious savory food. Coldcuts, onions, delicious broths, the Hungarian paprika is yummy. Such a rich history and culture. Thank you for sharing this video. Beautiful country.

I love goulash. We visited Prague in 2015 and we noticed a Hungarian guy in one of the Christmas markets looking very stern, standing next to a big steaming pot of something. We went over and I asked what it is and he replied in a very stern voice "GOULASH!" I had to try it with some bread and I'm glad I did. Absolutely amazing 👌

Hungarian Gulash Soup - Best thing on the earth. I'm cooking it myself at home, the biggest (8 liters) pot I have in My kitchen. I hope I will have it for few days. But it is always almoust empty the next morning. Just a little left. I'm from Poland And it's a big shame on me, that I have never been in Budapest and didn't try it at the orginal place - one of local restaurant. Some day brothers. But at least I have been in Miśkolc. Greatings for pilots boys and girls from Miśkolc Aeroklub.

For years now I have enjoyed and relished your videos. I can't help but giggle to myself in this one you have had. Huge meal with beef and marrow and soup and dumplings. Then you take us on a walk, beautiful scenery. Now we are getting in a cab to go to a RESTAURANT TO EAT AGAIN! I would love to do that but I would be 600 LBS Love to you Ying and Micah and God keep you all safe. Another thing I notice that Ying lets you try her food also. The steak and mushrooms yummy. My family when we were at a restaurant would try a sample of each other's plates. It was fun. My two sons and husband. Now they have their own families with 5 grandchildren. Now it is hard going through the virus not being able to hug your kids and grandkids. The world is in such a mess. I know and believe God is in control and we as Christians have nothing to fear.

Hello Mark, yes - Wien is the German word for Vienna. Julius Meinl is a famous chain of gourmet stores, founded in Vienna in 1862. They are most famous for their coffee, and they developed a new process for roasting their coffee, which goes back to the late 1800's. Thank you for all your great videos! -Wolfgang

1000% this! Mark is definitely helping me keep my sanity during this crazy time we're living in. Seriously if it wasn't for his sharing his travels with us (and other youtubers who are still uploading content like usual) I'd have gone insane with boredom from being stuck inside. Makes me really look forward to when things finally get back to normal, so we can all go back outside and travel & eat amazing food again! The thing I'm wondering about, is if I'm going stir crazy even though I've been a hermit much of my life and I'm kind of used to be inside a lot...I wonder what it like for someone like Mark who's so used to traveling to a different country all the time to be stuck in one place for such a long period of time. Maybe he's enjoying staying at home and be able to relax.

I truly enjoyed this tour showing us a remarkable view of Hungary and it's iconic locations. The Basilica and more Church which I admired. The food stood up to your taste buds with your beautiful wife Ying and son Micah who is so handsome. Good genes! starting from breakfast to the last meal!

When I was an undergraduate, I lived with a Hungarian graduate student and her 10-year-old son. She made the BEST Hungarian dishes (includIng goulash!)!

Actually 'Wien' is German for Vienna, in Hungary the Austrian city's name is 'Bécs'. He has the video as souvenir and will carry it in his heart :-)

@@dimsonski605 He said in the video he didn't know if it meant vienna or not, he probably knows it's not to signify his last name but it's still pretty funny😄

Marks makes the best food experience description. He makes every taste sounds like you can taste it as well. I love all your videos. I spend my daily quarantine watching 4 or more of your videos.
