Love the history at the start! Make it into a short while you're at it but don't mind you doing exclusively video like that. Where you just pick a random nation/area that you know a lot about and just spew facts out. You are good at building a story around that makes it interesting to listen to and follow.

I like the history. You have a tendency to discuss what was going on in Central/Eastern Europe with some level of expertise, its never too long or drawn out, just gives us a little bit of context and world building. Makes you better than other EU streamers in that regard. Keep it up homie.

Ludi, as I Hungarian history teacher, I was absolutely satesfied with your performance at the beginning when you talked about Hungarian history. Maybe one minor thing: The Hungarian Kingdom was de jure independent but had a Habsburg ruler (de facto it wasn't), and the Pragmatica Sanctio (1723) reinforced that status until 1848. In 1848, Hungary de jure and de facto became independent, which was acknowledged by the Austrians as well (April laws of 1848, V. Ferdinand also sanctified them). When the revolution and freedomfight was crushed by Austrian and Russian forces in 1849, the Hungarian Kingdom was incorporated into the Austrian Empire but the Austro-Hungarian Compromise ("Ausgleich" or "Kiegyezés") in 1867 created a dualist state, the two political nation were the Austrian and Hungarian. We can see this conglomerate as an independent Hungary, but as you mentioned, the "true" independence was realised after WW1. Yeah, Hungarian history is pretty complicated...

imo I love the Historical Context that goes along with the Video. The historical context gives more meaning as to why EU4 nations are set up the way they are especially at the 1444 starting date. Its because of EU4 that I learned the context of the PL Commonwealth and the Ambrosian Republic.Nearly all textbooks cover the English Civil War and the Iberian union, learning the history of other countries at the same period is like learning additional lore. Give me all the historical context

Hey Ludi! I love your stuff. I have been playing EU off and on since EU3 first came out, but I certainly don't claim to be any good at all. I stumbled across your channel a few months ago and have used what you do as a bit of a guide as to how to play these countries. It has been SUPER helpful. I also love the history you sometimes throw in. If you are open to suggestions, I'd love to see how you play as Khmer. I spent about 3 years in Cambodia and loved it there. They have some amazing history as well that could be thrown into your video. I've always struggled with my Khmer plays and would love to see how a more experienced and skilled player approaches it. Thanks for another fun video!

I don't know if it was a purposeful joke in the beginning, cause you use him in many videos, but "Hide the pain Harold" is actually a Hungarian electrical engineer named Andras Arato. He even appeared in the song Hide The Pain by Hungarian band Cloud 9+. (the song is in English, the reason he is in it is obvious)

Its rly interesting, the mother of Ladislaus actually made her house servant steal the crown of St. stephen so the rest of the nobles couldnt crown another king, bcs it was needed back then. She later sold it to austria btw 😂
