As a Hungarian you said some thing that are really incorrect. First of all the “took the knee” sitauiton.. We Hungarians dont feel that the colonisation and racial inquality is our fault. We never colonisated nobody unlike England, Spain even Germany (Namibia). We never buy or sell slaves, and we never gave works for slaves. We have a cultural rule that every Hungarian follow mostly: “ You should just take a knee in front of the God and your wife”. Take a knee in Hungarian culture is a very sensitive topic. It is very irritating when people in Minnesota, Seattle, London, and UEFA wants deny your culture in your own land. We wont ask forgivnes about a thing that we didnt even do (colonisation). Them second one: “Orban has colonised the Hungarian football”. Yes he had, but he did a nice job about it. (Lot of people dont like Orban here, he does lot of stupid and bad thing). The third one: “Rampage in Bucharest”. We did a rampage because the Romanians wanted to throw Molotov cocktails to our fan train, and we showed them we are not cowards like them. The 4th one: “Hungarians outside of modern Hungarian borders”. If you ask a Hungarian about support Hungarians outside of the borders they want support for them. Székelys (Hungarians in Romania) have gone lot of bad things under Ceausescu (Romanian Communist dictator). He even wanted to demolish the Hungarian villages. After the communism ended in Romania, the new “democratic” goverment try to beat Hungarians in mostly Hungarian cities in Romania ( Marosvásárhely ot Tagru Mures) because we are taking back Transylvania (Plot twist: we didnt). We called this even to “Fekete Március” aka “Black March”. So the Székelys suffered years or decades to being a Hungarian, so the minimum is we support them for them sacrefices. So this isnt Orbans idea. Lot of West European dont undertand what the international derby is. In Western Europe the international fans dont fight against each other. Max in the 60’s when England played against West Germany. But a Hungarian-Romanian derby is something else. This derby simular to Boca Juniors - River Plate, Albania-Serbia, Celtic-Rangers, Olimpiakos-PAOK, Crna Zvezda - Partizan.

As a Hungarian supporter I have to point out that this video is extremely misleading. It's true, that some of our fanbase are quite radical hooligans, but most of the Hungarian supporters are not like that. How can you say that Hungarian supporters are racist just because a very small group of them shouted at England's players? Apart from that, travelling to the Euros is something which is not cheap at all, and I can assure you that the problematic part of our fanbase can not even afford visiting football games. Only the middle and the upper part of the society can afford it. I must say it out loudly that you are generalizing heavily, and most of our fanbase are simple supporters, not hooligans.

Dear Tifo ! I was in Dublin a week ago in Aviva stadium as a Hungarian fan. Our seats were 4 rows above the Carpathian Brigade and if you would like im more than happy to translate all the chants were sang by the Hungarian fans lead by the Carpathian Brigade. I can assure you there were not even a swear word was sang out by the lead singer. If you need, feel free to ask those Irish children seat roughly 5 yards away from the Hungarian fans without any security barrier if they felt threatehed at all, or ask those Irish teenagers roughly 10 of them who joined the Hungarian fans at half time and spent whole 2 nd half singing with the Carpathian Brigade. Your video is based on assumptions normally made by main stream media not real research. Hope you guys make a better job next time. Best Regards.

An interesting, but quitw superficial video. The CB is the most prominent supporting group, and because of that people associate them with every idiot who shows an offensive sign, but they are actually actively trying to avoid these conflicts, due to the serious consequencies from UEFA. They are also very closely cooperaring with the Hungarian Football Association. They get some benefits, but the price is to cut back on the offensive chants etc. Anybody who goes to the home matches of Hungary knows the situation was much much worse 15-20 years ago. This week we even played againt Israel and the match went without any scandal or antisemitic chants - something which was unimaginable in the early 2000s .

Honestly, Orban is certainly what Xi Jinping aspired to look at, and Orban is far, far smarter. Remember that Hungary was in a massive demise by 2009 when the ultras was founded and Orban began involving in football, and in just a decade later, Hungary became a prominent European football nation again. Meanwhile Xi spent billions of dollars trying to create a football culture but still unable to replicate the 2002 feat.

There is a solid number of ultras, hools and casuals in Hungary who are just supporting their hometown clubs. The CB is a very controversal group in the country, they are secretly, but not so secretly funded by the government. For example ordinary fans could not get tickets for the euro because of the CB. Also ferencvaros hooligans are funded by the government.

This video is not objective, it only shows one side of the story. It magnifies a group's mistakes and doesn't talk about the amount of work they put into building a community or how much they help their community members. The examples they use to support their argument sound more precisely like this: there were racist manifestations in the sector of the Carpathian Brigade, which they try to fight against openly, but there are always a few idiots within a group, it is a mistake to stigmatize an entire group because of a few idiots. I am not their member, nor will I be, but too many things have been mixed up here, not very thorough work, with untrue connections.

@@ad3mn Poles are actually returning to Poland because the economy is improving. Meanwhile, many doctors in Bavaria have Hungarian surnames

Hungarians been oppressed by Turks, Austrians, and Russians and now an MP who steals from their people and making his political allies more wealthy and powerful, like all others before him. And they can't get rid of him because of the brain washed elder population. No wonder Hungarians are leaving...
