Hey Greg, there’s a BP with a roadhouse cafe for truckers on Pritchard/service road in Llyton just near the on-ramp for port of Brisbane, they do specials for lunch each day, if you go in on thursdays I believe they do carvery rolls that are pretty damn good 👍

Yeah Grego I work at HJ and often the merry chef (the oven is broken or not in use) so they cook it on the sandwich press, managers tell staff to put it on for 20 secs. The bacon always raw, I put it on for about 40 secs to a minute (I flip about mid way)

Doing this it gets beautiful grill marks and is cooked well. Staff are told 20 secs by their superiors so that’s we the bacon is raw

The bacon comes pre cooked. All they do is zap it in the microwave at most places. Some will actually slap it on the flattop for color so it is cooked even if it doesn't look look it is.

As a hungry jacks worker the only things flame grilled are the meats and grilled chicken. Also rebel is not vegetarian just incase you are. We cook bacon in whats called a marry chef which is a big oven for about a minute, we're only meant to do 6 at a time but due to the time it takes we often put much more leading to the rawness. You should do reviews on mainstream burger joints and measure the size of them and weigh them then see if they get smaller and lighter over the years . Would be good to see as we all know they have gotten smaller

Grego, Literally just got one 30 mins ago, wish i just went the classic whopper with cheese, my bacon was also raw, and they didn't layer it like yours it was, it was all four raw pieces stacked together. Plenty of mayo in mine so that helped it go down easy. Wasn't the worst, wish it was whopper size, 7.4/10 from me. Cheerio from WA mate, love your work!!

what time did you get there.....I got the chicken one, i like medium cooked bacon it keeps the fat in and makes the burger juicer just like when they put sliced cheeses in. I only go to Hjs when i smell them cooking.

Last time I had Hungry Jacks it was at Auburn in Sydney and they gave me a burger with a meat patty that was raw in the middle. I didn't notice it until I had eaten a bit... I was very lucky I did not get sick but I never eat this stuff now

Gordon Ramsay would freak if he knew that the bacon on the burger was raw. Maybe if you want crisp bacon on a baconator deluxe, you should make it yourself at home. You just need to get the ingredients and make it a lot better than what Hungry Jack's makes them. Plus, you could Aussie it up with an egg and beetroot and the pineapple. Also, whenever you visit KFC, I can't get enough of your overall excitement when you get their products. We have a chain called Mary Brown's chicken which is similar and I think it's the best fried chicken I've ever had. Probably what you thought that ACK and JFC was with their good tasting chicken.

Here in crazy California, Governor Gavin Newsomeone passed a bill for fast-food workers to make a minimum wage of $22/hr. Insanity! Unskilled workers and watch how these companies will jack up the prices just to keep their profit margins.
