Back in the 1980s I visited Mexico and was dissapointed with the food. I remember my mate and I saying that the Mexicans dont know how to make Mexican food.😳 Then when we went back to Texas we were educated by a lovely young girl at a Hooters restaurant that explained to us what we were used to eating in America and Australia is called Tex Mex. The American version of Mexican food.

The issue with all the X whoppers they make is they're almost never better than a regular whopper, and they cost $5 more. BK has a very distinct taste and altering that rarely works for them.

It needs guacamole and sour cream to be Mexican and no bacon and no corn chips. Corn chips on a burger, why? I have had a mexican pizza with corn chips, but it had sour cream and guacamole as well. For the price, you should get a margarita flavoured frozen drink as well.

I had one the other day and it must have been a red-letter day because - hope you're sitting down - the bacon was COOKED. 😲 And I thought it was a tasty burger: a lot of flavour to it unlike almost every other Whopper variant that have fancy names but just taste the same. I enjoyed it. Will be having another sometime. The corn chips weren't soggy in mine and there were more of them and the jalapenos. Good work Rocklea HJ. (oh and it's not Mexican at all but hey take it as is and it was good)

I new you could get it done in that busy schedule here uh GregO and surely this calls for chorizo over bacun along with avo and crème fraîche... I didn't mind the El Maco a few years back with summer that combo and glad this one wasn't the Subway same tasting... I'm sure ya Accountant will give ya some leeway on the non-receipt production. I'd try it. I'm probably more used to those kind of flavors than you, might like it. I like Sriracha or Cholula on my breakfast eggs. lol. Arizona is not "Mexican" but Mexican flavors are common in the Southwest. Guacamole is like Ketchup.

yes usually theres different sauces but also they tend to add different stuff to the burger, like onion rings, pineapple, bacon, corn chips etc, but yes most new burgers are legitimately just a whopper with a new sauce and random themed toppings
