It's fascinating how athleticism has changed throughout the years. I was very fortunate to have a high school swimming coach who had an interest in history and he let me know that a 100m freestyle time I clocked during my high school swimming career would have broken Weissmuller's world record, gold medal winning time in the same event in the 1924 Olympics. I wasn't even a good enough high school swimmer to swim collegiately.

My best kroger find: I was buying the $10 huge can of mixed nuts, and at the register it had one of their 'woohoo!' clearance stickers on it for $3.99!! for like 2lbs of mixed nuts!!! But it wasn't on the clearance shelf, it was on the regular shelf. So I went back to buy the other can, but it didn't have the sticker. I got the DBC ice cream in homage to you. Good stuff. About as good as you can get for under 3 bucks for 48 ozs.

The Mexican Fiesta Hungry Man dinner is by far the best Hungry Man dinner available. Unfortunately it is no longer available in Canada for some reason and has not been for some years. I don't know why. I used to loved the taste of the refried beans, burritos smothered in a delicious sauce and the delicious cocoanut desert (way better than the typical brownie). No other Hungry Man meal comes close to this. I have emailed Swanson asking why they don't offer this dinner in Canada anymore but they can't be interested in replying. All the other Hungry Man meals are like meals of last resort - whether be the soggy fried chicken, Salisbury steak, Hamburger or BBQ "ribs" - the processed meats all seem to contain bone fragments - I supposed that this is what is called "mechanically separated processed meat" Everything is just ground up - bones and all!. As soon as I taste a fragment of bone (or is it just metal fragments) I lose interest in the meal.
