Nah. Unlike hungrybox, emplemon was heavily respected by the greater youtube community. Hungrybox only received token support and casual sympathy. Btw, emplemon turned vegan when PETA defiled Steve Irwin's anniversary.

@@jameslebro6598 Actually that's wrong. EmpLemon received tons of hate for making YTPs differently and would constantly be attacked on sites like YouChew. Much like HBox, he got hate for taking part in and influencing a meta in a way certain people didn't like.

@@JoeDan54 Youchew has shut down. And one of his most persistent haters (ex-YTP) has changed his way of thinking. So in a sense, the hate is decaying at best and dying at worst. And I don't see how Emplemon could be hated now. Whereas with HBox, well, some could say he's technically the largest Smash channel.

The reason HBox did this video on stream is BECAUSE hes engaging with his viewers. Not acknowledging your new subs is very rude, given that they're paying you something akin to a Hulu subscription or half a Netflix sub. It might be annoying for you watching the video, but its rude if you were the one subbing and you didnt get recognition.

I think it was more just how they set it up that made it really awkward. They didn't really know each other beforehand, had to try talking over the stream audio while not shouting in each other's faces and they also weren't facing each other to talk to each other, while paying attention to the stream chat as well. If they just made this like a vod or something like Hot Juans there probably would have been a better back and forth.

I would say, Emplemon's creation of the smash doc is based on his earlier experience with his other docs, especially with his video about Stanislav Petrov. And considering Emplemon never in his KZbin career meet a top tier figure in person (the largest channels he met was with his friends in SOTY). So it may be obvious that Emp has not much ideas to remain professional. With Hungrybox, of course he'll be biased to his own video. But you're right that Hbox should react to this video alone, but since he watched it already (even before this stream), there won't be surprises or critical thoughts in such a reaction video. Should he make a video reacting to this alone, I doubt it would be on the same level of that of 2Saint reacting the same video.

@Byleth Eisner I watched the stream and the reason that Armada was ragging on the Puff the whole time was that the Hbox-Puff relation appeared on the Never Ever episode no less than a third of its run. Most of the valid criticism was that Emplemon was being contradictory (such as how Melee can't survive a top player like Hbox leaving despite Armada just doing that)
