Man I thought the most toxic player was one player that fought in a team match. Their teammate died and it was him and 2 players on the enemy team left all one stock. The controller of the player by themselves unplugged during the match, but one of the other players paused the game for him to reconnect. After they fixed it they requested the player that paused to lose a stock because he paused during the match. Where I live my area is only serviced by two companies, one allows for an upload of 5-35mbps and the other caps out at 5mbps. bro is 17 and probably doesn’t pay bills, can’t fault him for having shit upload. Gaming doesn’t use all of your upload too, it uses kbps, if yall don’t believe, google how much bandwidth is used for gaming. It makes for good content but the expense of berating him. that’s fucked up

The mods of tournaments typically use a software ( sabledetect i think) to detect any connection issues like ping, network stability, and more for each of the players. These issues are called flags. If the program picks up any issues with their connection in the ~1 minute test, the player who is causing the lag is disqualified to prevent further matches to be laggy. Sometimes laggers can still sneak by the lag test if their connection happens to stay clean for that minute though so it's not fool proof unfortunately.
