The flatbreads look deliciously good. Can you make the dough and keep in fridge overnight, then bake it off the next day?
@HungryManKitchen2 жыл бұрын
Yes, but I would use less yeast in that case.

This looks great but can I make it softer so it can easily wrap around some kababs ? Maybe cook it less Or will it soften when soaking up the juices from the kebabs ? I have been searching for months for this recipe but I didnt know what it's called!
@HungryManKitchen Жыл бұрын
Just soak the juices from the kebabs or spray a bit water over them and warm up in the oven for 2 mins or so..

If I may ask where did you get the strong bread flour? I live also in Netherlands and you can't get simply strong bread flour in the supermarket.
@HungryManKitchen Жыл бұрын
Yes, I usually buy it onlinr from websites selling bakery products. The patent bloem in Dirk also works ok.

Hi 👋 thanks for beautiful recipes. Where do I get oven stone
@HungryManKitchen2 жыл бұрын
Thank you. I got mine from Amazon, there are lots of options online, I recommend buying a largest square one that fits into your oven.

Nice. How do you eat, what do you eat it with, or do you eat it by itself?
@HungryManKitchen2 жыл бұрын
This is usually served with kebabs, served in platters under the kebabs or grilled meats. They nicely soak up the fat and juices. That said, I've seen this served also with almost anything and especially soups. We even eat this for breakfast as it makes a great dipping bread! It's easy to store, freeze and no slicing is required :)

What you did with flour with boiling water? Did u add to yogurt and egg ?
@HungryManKitchen2 жыл бұрын
No, there are two different glazing options: 1st with yogurt and eggs and 2nd flour / water slurry. You can use one of them. Details are in the description.

I really enjoy your videos as I am a huge fan of turkish food and just wanted to say thank you for your great content! Is there any reason you don't use a machine for kneading the dough?
@HungryManKitchen2 жыл бұрын
Thank you very much! I kinda enjoy doing it by hand as it is kind of relaxing for me! For future videos, I am planning to use it from time to time, especially where it makes a real difference ;)
