Exploring The Roads Outside Hua Hin Thailand 🇹🇭 Thailand Travel Day

Join me on a travel day from Hua Hin Thailand to the underrated town of Prachuap Khiri Khan, the capital of this long Thailand province. I take the motorbike alone the coastal road, passing stunning Thailand beaches, little fishing villages and an incredible national park (Khao Sam Roi Yot National Park) full of spectacular mountain views. It was a pleasure to ride through Prachuap Khiri Khan province. Some of my favourite days on this road trip from Bangkok to the most southern point in Thailand are actually the days on the motorcycle. Before finishing in Prachuap Khiri Khan town, I visit Khan Kra Dai Cave which is a lovely mountain temple. Here you can find a cave with some interesting Buddha statues inside. This really was so much fun to ride the scenic route of road from Hua Hin Thailand to the town of Prachuap Khiri Khan.

No Thai person would dare steal something near a temple, not even one inside a cave. That's the beauty of the Thai people and Buddhism. Karma is what keeps Thai people honest! As an American who has visited Thailand just recently, you do feel insecure about leaving your items unattended but your items are always there when you return. This would not happen in other countries!

True, but one must be careful, nonetheless, because there are SOME who are not so "religious" and will do things most Thais don't normally do. There are 1 or 2 bad apples in every bushel, Kevin. This applies to EVERY countries in the world, not just Thailand, but yeah, MOST Thais are KIND, GOOD, AND HONEST, indeed. I have an interesting story to tell, if you don't mind, that a few years ago, I was at the Casino in my home state, playing on a slot next to a retired sheriff. He got up to go to the restroom, and asked me to watch his machine for him while he was gone, with about $200 in the machine. I said, "ok." When he came back, I asked him why didn't he take out the ticket first before going to the restroom, didn't he afraid I was going to print out and run off with his $200? He said he was not worry because in his former line of work, he could tell who is honest and who is not, and he said, "You have an honest face." 😊. Good to know. Most folks who don't know me personally ALWAYS assumed that I'm stuck-up, as in I have a stuck up face, until they get to know me. LOL. Have a blessed day. 😊

That's true, that is why I felt it was okay overall, but it is a little different when you have your very expensive MacBook Pro and all of your belongings in your bag haha. I know Thailand is very safe though. I come from a small island in the UK where it's also extremely safe. So it is second nature to me not to worry. Never in London though haha

Prachuap Khiri Khan is ALWAYS has rough sea. No matter which KZbinrs show up, they've never captured the calm sea. 😁 I always find the bright side of everything, so, rough sea, but the breeze helps cooling your body's temperature, right? The countryside is beautiful & peaceful, comparing to the hustle and bustle of BKK. I really do enjoy this episode of your journey, Joe. Thank you. 😊

Beautiful video. During the month of Nov - Feb, the sea is rough with high wave and wind. So this is perfect for Kite surfing in that area (near Khao Kalok, which you drove pass just before the temple). They also have Kite surfing competition here. During these months it is best to go to Adamen sea side of Thailand which will have perfect and calm water.

Well the sea is much warmer, that’s for sure! Both are equally beautiful in their own ways. But you can’t beat a beer on a Thai beach, watching the sun go down

Thank you. I was using the DJI Mini 2 in this series, but I have just upgraded to the DJI Mini 3 Pro. It is easy to register in Thailand when you don't register it haha. I never had anyone ask me about it. Just don't be silly and fly in Bangkok, near military bases or airports and you won't have any issues at all :)
