Looks like Hunsaker makes good drums. Tell me, does the air intake on the bottom cause any grease leakage??

I haven’t had any issues with that but I do use a drip tray or pan so maybe that is why? I think some Hunsaker owners lay down a baking sheet or foil under the intake to take care of any potential drips. But overall doesn’t seem to be much of a concern. Thanks for stopping by, hope that helps!

So could you put the second grate below the top grate and add like a slow and sear to grill on? Is there enough clearance for that

Yes, there is room to do something like that. Put a grate in the top spot, maybe skip the next one, then second grate in the third notch.
