Good old Levi deserves the bs award. You are exactly correct on flat base v boat tail, although each particular rifle might shoot one or the other better. My 7mm definitely like flat base.

Thank you for being most important in my high BCBS Syndrome Disease recovery. I now have plans to sell my 6.5CM for a 7mm-08 and developing my hunting skills @ responsible distances.

@@adamshaw8214 Thanks for the advise! I'm a high power rifle rookie, even though I have been a gun guy for years. So, going to keep the 6.5, as I should walk before I try to run. want to shoot and learn my rifle/scope a multitude of distances. This leading up to some hunting wolves in the future, to try and help out some ranchers, and hunters who have been overly effected by the run away wolf populations. Happy hunting Adam.

Appreciate your answer on the O/U question. I had always heard that shooting the bottom barrel first was correct, but I never knew why.

Don’t ever worry about any of your videos running too long! This was another great episode. That’s really too bad about Wyoming and Montana. I love it out there and it’s a big dream of mine to hunt out there even if it’s just once in my lifetime.

Many thanks DD for your comments on my annealing question. I have immediately stopped using that batch of brass. Must admit I scared myself somewhat when I saw the cracks in a couple of case.

Paul from the UK may have another issue besides annealing regarding his .416 Rem Mag brass. If he's getting premature case head separation, he might have a minimum spec FL size die and a maximum spec rifle chamber.

Like your show. With the gal from Poland, I would also have mentioned that accuracy should be checked while deciding on what grain bullets to use. If she likes the Nosler brand that she mentioned in the 06, I would personally be more concerned with finding out if a particular grain bullet from the 150’s to the 180’s shot the best groups. They all will pretty much get the job done within 300 yards so pick the most accurate.

To our friend Mark from Kansas, my friend the most important thing in holding any equipment such as a gun is in the stance, leg positioning, correct your stance and the rest of the bodey will be corrected, best regards.

@nasseraliazadi98092 жыл бұрын
What i meen is, if you are right hand shooter your left leg should be in front and put 70% of your bodey weight on your front leg and take the recoil with your back leg!

Love your videos!! But Sorry...as a life long Arizona resident and hunter I like the fact we limit out of state hunters to 10 percent. It is hard enough for us locals to get drawn now with the massive influx of new residents without having to compete with out of state applicants. Here in Arizona all the game is funded by the state game and fish not the federal government. The land itself is federal but any game management happens with the state game and fish. The game belongs to the state not the land owner and that includes the federal lands. I cannot shoot game that is on my land without a state tag. It works the same for federal lands. You are correct that federal lands are taken care of by federal dollars. But everyone can enjoy those lands anytime...it is not just limited to Arizona state residents. But the water tanks and game management is done by the state game and fish with state dollars. Even if there is federal subsidies that doesn't mean non-residents get those benefits. Just like local schools and even local governments get federal dollars doesn't mean non-residents are entitled to those services.

Last year, Arizona fish and wildlife made a total of $46 million from Arizona residents. But, they recieved $54 million from Federal Pittman funds, and an additional $35 million in federal grants. The lions-share of funding is from out of state. On the topic of Wyoming; 77% of all Wyoming fish and wildlife license revenue came from non-resident hunters. Their fish and game department will be gutted.

@desertdogoutdoors11132 жыл бұрын
Unfortunately, 77% of Wyoming hunting license revenue comes from non-resident hunters. Gutting their game department doesn't seem like a good idea, especially when game populations are very healthy.
