Not only is he cheating but he's actually awful at the game otherwise - Melee'ing Concertina Armoured - Stabs Immolator - Wastes all the ammo on a Dolch on Grunts - Keeps partial reloading Dolch - Shoots normal Armoured for no reason (just stab?) - Has no audio awareness when a Grunt is chasing him - Body shots Grunts and not instantly killing them (imagine he had aimbot for NPCs) - Enters the game with missing health chunks - Burns a solo (he definitely has no clue about necromancer so actually just unhinged gameplay) - Shoots someone 100s of meters away by wallbanging right in front of him, even though he could just step to the side And that's all just in a 6 minute clip. Yikers. Imagine what else he could have added to the list if this was longer.

i really don't understand how the devs don't just have a small thing running that checks when a kill is more than 100m away then checks for obstacles and puts a them on a watch list. If it happens again they should have something that auto spectates them and captures footage and have a person review some of it. Hell they could even just make a deal with that AI cheat detection site whos name I forget and run each video through there and have a person review it after getting 5+ positives on a video, or again just to put dev time interaction even farther away put them all up on the hunt website and let people vote. You can then bring the dev closer and closer to the source of the cheaters as you clamp down on it all of a sudden cheaters get banned fast and people are happy. I dunno, I honestly just don't get why devs refuse to spend a decent amount of time catching cheaters. Like they play the game and must run into them, do they just auto ban the people they themselves come into contact with so its not a big deal to them?

Well, they did say that they manually review every report and thus have a list of reports that go years back. Might be the reason why cheaters don't get banned that often

If you report it on their website they will review it within a couple days. In game though they probably don't do anything about. It seems like every time I kill a streamer and then jump in their stream they are all reporting me. If we keep making false reports it makes real ones like this one harder to believe. But...anyways, a search on that name through steam shows a game ban 48 days ago. Probably right after this video went up.

I almost wonder if a bot is doing this, at least at some points. Notice how what they do goes from deliberate to random back and forth. one min it takes them 3 shots to kill a zombie right in front of them, the next they head shot one further away no problem. I feel like its probably 1 guy on two accounts swapping back and forth and letting AI take up the slack

It's most likely a cheat seller or something. They play these games on burner accounts to test their cheats before opening shop. I've seen it happen more than once - accounts that are like 0 prestige lvl something (not 100). I've even encountered some of these guys a full year later too, I only recognized him because I have a screenshot and name of every cheater I encounter. His account had barely moved in terms of prestige or levels. It's safe to say these are just burner accounts for cheat testers, at least when they're so blatantly bad at the game and barely have any gametime yet snap you from across the map.

Sadly Crytek does try to ban these people, but just like other games out there cheaters will just buy games/accounts for cheap and use them just for crap like this. I can't really think of any way to prevent most of them from doing this without introducing an IP ban

I still remember people saying stuff like "I have 100000 hours in this game and I haven't ever seen a cheater". Well yeah, real cheaters are in 5-6 star lobbies usually, you won't meet them in fkin 3 stars where the dudes saying they don't see cheaters are at. There's no way they haven't encountered cheaters if they're 5-6 stars lol. Ever 1 in 10 lobbies has at least 1 person soft ESPing. Which is not that bad, but who knows how many more I am missing.

I think it would be great if Crytek would deal with cheaters continuously making the cheaters think that their game is flunking out. As soon as the game recognizes cheat logic running, it throws out 15000ms ping, extreme packet loss, server communication disconnections, and every other disorder this game exhibits and just continues to do this every time they load the game up. All of it artificial of course, in that it's localized to just the cheater and their team, but actually a set of "counter attacks," from the servers. Frustrate the cheaters to the point of stopping their cheating. Or just do what CoD does, make everyone else disappear at the attack point and then filter all of these losers into their own servers with only other cheaters.

If such a system can't recognize a cheater and start cutting sticks in the wheels, for example, ping100500, then why not just ban him? with some kind of humiliating inscription that you are a person, well, you thought that he was banned by mistake, because all cheaters think that they were banned by mistake =)

@@yubilex the idea behind what I said is to frustrate the cheater into leaving the game permanently. Cheaters that are banned just go rebuy the game and start over again. They're not buying Hunt legitimately, aren't paying full price for it, or are being sponsors in some way to cheat so banning them instantly is less effective. If they think the game is just a bad game that's unstable to interact with inherently or because of the cheat, there's a decent chance they abandon their efforts out of frustration.

The cheating problem has been getting worse and worse for months, and Crytek just throw more half-assed DLC hunters at us hoping we won't think about it

Steam reports simply provide statistics/feedback and not a direct ban, but it certainly can and has brought attention to these throwaway cheat accounts. If you have legit reason to report a player in game, you should not be blocked from providing that feedback to Steam

@@SceadaFenris I wouldn’t do it myself or recommend it to anyone else, mostly because I wouldn’t want that kind of software on my computer to begin with, and also because cheating rips all of the fun out of gaming. But at the same time, I think people like him are a necessary evil in exposing just how little crytek cares at all about preventing cheaters. You as the consumer should at least know what you’re buying into. When you get to high MMR, your skill won’t be rewarded, and you’ll more than likely be versing a bunch of players who are using subtle cheats to gain an advantage. Because if they aren’t banning people who are blatantly cheating and killing players in impossible ways, then someone who is using their cheats more subtly is likely never going to be in danger of a ban.

As for crytek not doing anything about it... sadly its hard to impossible to fully rid yourself of cheaters. You can use some anti-cheat software or whatever, and that might block the shittier cheats, but clearly theres a community of these garbage piles in human form and entire companies coding and selling cheat tools. So for game devs this is a fight against windmills. I doubt they are happy about cheaters in their game, considering what damage this can do to a competetive online game like hunt.

Everybody said he misses grunt or he misses that ... He has a cheat on where he ignores collission with EVERYTHING! He can't hit the grunt because he has no collission with the enviroment. the only thing he can hit is players. That is why he can shoot so far through everything. He needs his team mate to finish everything and as we see they are pretty new to hunt or has at least only 30 hours into that game. they don't need to be efficient because they have nothing to worry about.

So I have 5k hours in hunt, the unfortunate thing about this guy. Is he probably only just recently bought cheats to compete with all the hacks in hunt fairely. Clearly this guys a 2 star that was getting spanked. Honestly I dont blame him for cheating. The devs have 1000s of hours of footage of well known cheats and twitchies clearly cheating and no action cuz it "Hurts public opinion". Ive never seen a game were hacks could happly cheat full knowing after a certain point they are protected. Nor are they banned from competitions where you can win $5,000 prizes.

Then bought an ESP from a reputable site. I got over 600 kills with a 3.0 kda and stopped for 2 reasons . 1 the ESP sub is 70$ a month and ran out . 2 clearly I wasn't gonna get caught . ESP shows you player skeletons through all objects , their distance, name, what they are using and it highlights them green if they are hitable and red if not . I.e wood wall/ brick.
