My boy came across a forum where all these Hunt cheaters basically discussed shit. Apparently they even knew on which date every month Crytek would do a cheat detection and ban cycle or some shit like that. They wouldn't play on those dates.

If you look at the leaderboards for the current event you'll see lots of Chinese and Russian accounts with 4+ kda. I know Hunt is open with how many people they ban for cheating, but they need to do better. It's so obvious to see who's hacking

@@thomasdick6797 The event points can be bought with stacked boosters and sponsored hunters. But seriously though, I think Rachta only has a 3.0+ KDA. Anything over that should be investigated by Crytek; this game is hard to have that high of a KDA in whether from the gun play mechanics to the trash servers. So anything 4+ KDA should be looked into. Is it possible to be "that good?" Sure, but it's also the bordering position that most cheaters reign in at too. But yeah, the folks netting 1000 event points per hunt could just be stacked in boosters and dropping major dollars on the event which...is dumb anyway.

The thing is "I know hunt is open with how many people they ban for cheating" it's not true, it's random names! Both me and plenty of my friends "names" have been in the ban waves, With the exact type and numbers. I even have 2 friends with over 1500h in the game and they've been cheating for 2 years back and forth, i typed to the devs about it and said i had proof, they banned me from their discord and forum for "No naming and shaming" So F stupid! They do not ban anybody as long as they dont kill any "big" streamer.

I had something similar the other day. A guy with an Avto at that. My partner was downed from 70+ meters with an Avto headshot. When my partner told me I got behind some haybales inside Darrow Livestock boss arena. He was trash talking and unloading clip after clip where I was and I saw the shots landing where my head would've been. I called him out on cheating and he denied it and kept trying to find angles. He finally got downed by a single Sparks shot, even though I didn't take the shot it was immensely satisfying to hear him die. He not only had an aimbot going, he also had limitless ammo from the sounds of it. It perplexes me why people would cheat, how satisfying can any victory really be at that point? It's not like we win real money at the end of a match.

Dude misses sparks shots at medium range, uses scans, and is clearly listening to enemies to get their spots. Also if somebody is new to the game, they do not play in hunter mode, they will play gunslinger. That dude is just pretty good and shit on them, you get placed in lower lobbies when you queue solo. Imagine a monster spawning in a random match. You don't recognize it as any of the other bounty targets, but it looks like it's on a hunt of its own. Slowly but steadily walking, then striding, then lunging, the closer it's target is the faster and scarier it becomes. Tears into a building before flashing lights go off, alongside a audible "CRUNCH!". It is at that moment the lobby knows, a cheater has been erased from the game. It would be awesome if a game were to have that kind of mechanism in place. What do you think?

The delay you see is caused by spectator mode not showing what's actually happening on his screen, so you're seeing his ping through your machine (he's probably in china so the amount makes sense), also spectator mode doesn't line up visually with the players actual line of sight, so he might see things that you can't because of it. And while there ARE players who are really good at echolocating players through walls, the two headshots on the players below are super suspicious. That said, even if we gave this guy the benefit of the doubt, and assume he somehow isn't cheating, what does that say about the matchmaking in this game? This game desperately needs a replay mode that shows you EXACTLY what the player who killed you saw. It would clear up so many suspect kills, and make catching cheaters easier. also crytek needs to hardware ban cheaters.

correct me if im wrong but i believe crytek already hardware bans cheaters. there is this small german hunt streamer whos steam acc was hacked and he got banned everywhere (even with max security). valve later unbanned him from other games but for some reason even with a email from valve involved they still wouldnt unban him lol. he ended up directly contacting a dev who atleast removed the hardware ban so he could play on a second acc.

Way too high of a number, I wouldn't even say 30% of 6-star players are cheaters, but there certainly are a significant amount at the high tier. 3 and 4 star is all just peeps lookin' to cowboy it up and send it. Most of the player base is the 3-4 range, as well.

Actually pulled up this video because the last few nights my husband and I have noticed some "strange" moments. I'm unsure of how much these hacks have progressed but there was a point neither of us had moved and inch and someone ran right up to the both of us and bomb lanced us both with one hit using melee. We don't typically stay together but this time we did for just a moment too. Other instances were through walls or floors that you typically couldn't actually see through as a normal player if you will, especially non moving. Just annoying having to deal with this, and not having them look into this further.

While I'll be the first to say yes cheating in Hunt does happen and I encountered it roughly 3 times out of 1200 hours (FLAT OUT Cheating). High pingers, derender's and the likes are more of an issue. This video doesn't show anything that really indicates that he's cheating. And it's spectate view two which is wonky to begin with. His movement and knowldge of players location in accordance to that map, shows his account more than likely might be a smurf account. Low hours and only a 2.09 k/d. As I heard one of your homies mention it. That's not a high k/d for a "cheater" at all, if it was 5 k/d + than yes, it'd be more sus. Not every shot was a head shot either, he bodied a lot of people, which with as you know with a sparks is a one-tap. And he could possibly be playing with windows loudness setting on which is going to make farther sounds seem closer, making it easier to pinpoint people's location, once you get use to using windows lourness setting. And yes, I have played with some very skilled players 3.0+ k/d's including Huuge, so seeing this gameplay isn't all that sus. Just looks like a guy playing as catious/ agressive solo sniper in a compund, which is ballsy. Some people are also just better at shooters than most, while it is a hit to the ego it's hard to accept that at times. I'm gulity of doing this myself. Wall bang more my people, you'd be suprised at how lucky you'll get.

To answer a few things here... I am 95% sure they use the cheats to fake hours played and prestige. There are 100% people who have actual over 1000 hours played in this game and cheat, but someone like this is likely faking it. I also know for a fact that some cheat clients offer the ability to tell you if someone is spectating you - which is why you will die to something completely inhuman or get hit over and over and over, then when you spectate they look semi-normal. I don't think this guy had that, I think he was just trying to keep his replay semi-believable in case he gets reported. Idk what rank you are, but when you get into the high 5/low 6 region, this shit is so common it is insane. I usually have to go against a cheater team once every 3 games or so. It is that common. Part of the reason the consistent cheaters don't get banned is because there is no actual physical proof that they are cheating, because the prolific cheaters are running their cheats through a VM. So like a BB/YS/SWMG/Scumge player for instance will get hundreds of reports a day, the devs will check their logs and see nothing being tampered with, and then can't ban them. It doesn't help that they have thousands of actual game hours to add to their credibility; they know how to play the game normally and know how to fake it. The solution (assuming Crytek is going to continue to do nothing about the cheaters they can't prove are cheating) is to give people the ability to block players. When you get into higher lobbies, you literally see the same cheaters 5-7 times a week - over the last several years. All I can say is, I am super glad they messed up the MMR matchmaking so lower 3-4 stars get a chance to experience these cheaters... because soo many of these people are in the discussion forms going "I have 400+ hours and have never seen a cheater"... they exist... and they are rampant if you get good.

It's because of two reasons: the first is because there are people like Ratcha or other high 6* players who can pull off expert wallbangs, snap headshots and are just phenomenal at the game, to the point where it looks like hacking from the outside. So people know it's possible to do shit that looks like hacking in this game if you have enough skill. The second reason is you have people who cry hacker every time they lose a fight in this game. Every lucky headshot, unlucky shotgun spread, wallbangs etc... Has them screaming about the person who killed them is definately a hacker or cheater. The hunt reddit is full of these second groups of people. Just incredibly toxic. These two things in hunt makes it harder to identify actual cheaters unless it's blatant (like in this video). At the end of the day, it's almost impossible to differentiate between a very skilled player who has trained muscle memory to snap crosshairs to foreheads over years of playing shooters, or those who paid a Chinese hacking group to give him auto aim and is smart about using it.

@@isaacsteele7986 Hard disagree with regards to the sound. Hunts audio is good enough to what where people are behind walls. I recently bought a new headset and the difference is huge. You can tell whether someone is crouched or stood up based on the sound of their foot steps and of you've played enough, you can also know the height that the head is at. I have a friend who can dome people through walls based on the sounds of footsteps when he's pressed against the wall. He isn't cheating, he's just played Counter Strike for the past 15+ years. You're right that it's next to impossible to get it consistently, but that doesn't mean you can't get wall bangs often. It's just harder to do, not impossible. I watch multiple different Hunt streamers who do it a tonne. Im regards to Rachta, which videos are showing blatant hacking? I'm curious to know but not curious enough to go through the hours of his early videos.

Watched the one video on your channel, the only potential explanation I can see is that you can briefly see what is either the silhouette of a hunters head/hat, or a hooded lantern when he flicks up. But admittedly, thats just my guess. In terms of his mouse movements, they all look like that - very smooth, almost snappy, but they're always like that including when he's in a menu, or just looking around an empty field, so it doesn;t seem like an aimbot. In regards to your issues with the sound, do you ny chance have any surround sound software, or features built into your headsets? I have on mine, but if its switched on, it fucks the soundof Hunt very badly, makes it nearly impossible to determine direction or distance of sounds. Check for Spatial Sound in windows, and make sure you have things like "Dolby Atmos" or "Windows Sonic" switched off when playing Hunt, it will improve your sound experience by a tonne. I was accidentally playing with it switched on for over a year and a half, so I know it can be easy to miss.

That lvl 1 steams, P0 or P1, with like 500h (which is a lot and shows how good the anti cheat devs are using actually is) and behing so aware of everything in the game, impossible to surprise or outplay, map knowledge from a 3k hours player, with a crazy aim. I've had my fair share of encounters with cheaters. My question is how they get away with it so easily? I was in a match recently and a solo downed my whole team with a Nagant Carbine Deadeye and bleeding ammo in fog. He one-shot each of us from so far away that you couldn't see anything and his footsteps were muted. Not like crouched and moving so slow they were quiet, I'm talking about full sprint and no sound at all. If it was clear with a good line of sight and he was crounched in the bushes or something, then I wouldn't have been mad. But I managed to hit him perfectly in the head when I finally did see him and he lived, before killing me and running off. I spectated him and saw that my shot took most of his health, but he survived a perfect headshot which is impossible in Hunt. I reported him, but I doubt much will come of it.

If you’re on console, beware of ComptonSmurf. Dude has like 4 accounts, (back when they had leaderboards available to see) all 4 were top 4. Each account was sitting at a +10kd, the person sitting in 5th place, ~4kd, almost 5.0kd. Every subsequent player below slowly worked it’s way down, with that blatant cheater sitting at literally double than the better players.

i have played hunt for 4 years now, im prestige100 with over 9000 hours in game, i do see this every week in hunt, a lot are suspect but hard to prove, last night i died to someone at start of match we traded,he revived himself , he then killed my 2 teamates, i thought i would spectate him, he went on to kill everyone on server and killed single boss in between fighting teams, some players he killed more than once, he left with bounty and maybe 14 kills, i did not report him because it waste of time, dont know what crytek will do with cheaters

Completely agree, I’ve sent reports for almost every category in the report system and never seen them ban anyone. If they won’t ban easy to prove things like team killing or toxic behavior then how can anyone expect them to catch cheaters. Wouldn’t be surprised if the report feature doesn’t actually work and it’s just a way to help hunters vent their anger into a chat box that leads nowhere. ESP is already near-impossble to detect and when you combine it with the fact that hunt showdown already HAS a lot of esp-like mechanics in game (dark sight, poison sense, stalker beetle etc) it's pretty much impossible at that point without manual moderation which the hunt showdown devs don't have the money for. its unfortunate but there really isn't much that can be done from crytek's end aside from temporary holdouts for cheaters until they inevitably find a way to circumvent the anticheat. there's a reason that there's no games without cheaters: anticheat is incredibly difficult.

Fun fact about Crytek is they don't perma-ban cheaters so they can keep their player counts at an inflated number. First ban is 20 minutes, then a day, then a week, then a max of a month. They do it because they're a smaller company and can show private investors a better looking report of their games.
