Yes the Romero is nice but if we combine the rng involved with all shotguns with fact that it is a single shot barrel, i think that the disadvantage is obvious. I prefer the Caldwell Rival much more.

I guess the crown doesn’t behave like the others because the ammunition IRL is just 20 gauge which isn’t bad but is not as good as the ammunition the other long barrel guns use. Well it’s probably just a balance thing for being semi automatic

I knew all of this, still find some shotguns to be really inconsistent. Specially the Specter, I've had hit targets really close in the chest and they didn't die. I find the Caldwell Rivel to be more consistent than the Specter, even with the wider spread of it's bullets.

@@robertharris6092 Aside from both games being 1st-person shooters with shotguns, very little, however the original question was whether there is a difference in spread pattern between hip-fire and ADS, in Borderlands there IS. Since spread occurs anywhere within the crosshair in Borderlands, ADS leads to a more accurate shot as it shrinks the crosshair, potentially causing more damage as less pellets are likely to miss. That is really not how a shotgun should behave.

Ik it's an older vid but idk where to ask: Do you know how far the actual pellets can travel? Ik dmg will drop off immensely but that's not the point for me. It seems buckshot can trigger barrels from quite an exceptional distance. Moreover, Dragons Breath seems to be able to ignite things even further than the actual buckshot can reach (tested on barrels and AI- not convinced the pellet's reach is extended or if it's just the DB fire aspect). This could be fun, in the case of the LeMat and Sparks combo, seeing as how you literally only need 1 point of damage to follow up for a kill. Lastly, how far can DB actually ignite hunters, given the spread?

Hello, I’m here because I don’t want to ask reddit again.. In the current version of Hunt, is the spector bayonet range, spread, and damage the same as the standard variant? I know the stats don’t say so but I’ve been told the stats aren’t accurate. If someone could confirm the bayonet doesn’t affect the range and damage that would be SWEET.
@4FSGaming4 жыл бұрын
They bayonet takes the barrel length from a long category barrel to a medium length barrel. This does not impact either range or damage statistics, but it does greatly increase the spread, so you will hit less bullets, functionally decreasing both range and damage by a significant degree as seen in this video. The spectre bayonet is a pretty significant downgrade to the normal spectre, I usually avoid it.
@mahoganybookshelf32844 жыл бұрын
@@4FSGaming I really appreciate the video and the response. Sorry if my question seemed redundant, I was just unsure because I’ve been told the Romero hatchet spread was buffed since this videos release. Maybe the stats screen is different on console?
