Can we agree that calling increased recoil a "downside" in a game where weapons fire slowly (even the "rapid fire" weapons are slow except for the avtomat) is incredibly fucking stupid and has literally no effect? Lol. What were crytek thinking? If cone-of-fire bloom were a mechanic in the game and HV rounds increased that, I could see that being pretty balanced. But as it stands, HV rounds are actually a direct upgrade with absolutely no downside

The only thing it really effects is levering and the officer if you fire it fast enough. Because when it recoils and comes back it doesn't come back to the exact same spot. But a decent player can compensate for it, so it only effects new players who are really bad.

@@Moshugaani idk if they will nerf the damage directly, as the damage is nerfed via penetration power as I have seen it do that but if you think about it, there are a few guns that are no different then the winni. Mosin and lebel have higher velocity with more damage. The same is with the centenial. Same velocity, higher damage. Better pen.

@@Huntwerker2212 There's a very good reason it deals 123 dmg. Would you ever use long ammo rifles again if it could onetap people missing one health bar with long ammo velocity? Centennial is a lot stronger than Vetterli because of its velocity and iron sights. You're meant to click heads with it, not chests. It's supposed to *compete* with Vetterli, not completely outshine it. It's stupid that it even competes with long ammo imo. If anything, it should cost 275, get a velocity nerf like 450-480, and *slightly* more ammo like 9+1/12.

Watching his videos it hard not to wonder sometimes. When he somehow knows somehow exactly where someone is through a wall and far away or he can spot someone and heads hot them, nearly instantly, with me watching the clip countless times on the highest resolution, zoomed in can't for the life of me even spot them. I don't think he does cheat, I think he is just a freak of nature but man, it's hard not to wonder.

I prefer the veterli personally but the Winfield is a very close second. I can't hit with the silenced nagant to save my life though. I feel like it's accuracy just isn't the same for me as it is for this guy.

I'm not sure if they should nerf it or keep it as it is. The fact that one of the most low level, cheapest weapons in the game is such a workhorse makes it fair for the newbies and lets more advanced players choose other weapons because they're funner or they offer a different play style.

They should make the centennial Winfield more accessible by lowering the price. Forget the ammo why pay 330 when you can get a vetterli for 1/3 of it and have better overall stats and more reliable.

The high velocity ammo should do less damage, than the normal compact ammo, similar to the way spitzer works. It's a straight upgrade right now and if you use it only for PVP the ammo pool is more than enough.

Winnie Vandal + HV is the budget Obrez I've wanted for a long time. However, that's the problem. I think it's just too good. I honestly don't know what they were thinking, adding ammo types that increase velocity. That's the most important difference between ammo classes. I think boosting the velocity of the Winnie Swift, for instance, to just 500 m/s instead of 600 m/s would be perfectly fine, that would still be 10 m faster than the Springfield.

They dont have decreased pen. Only downside is biggest recoil and trust me, going from 410ms to 600ms is HUGE differnece.

To me almost cool update... but... small and large ammo getting HV, medium ammo crap like bleed.... explo cost more than the weapon... when get hit always go for cover and heal if bleeding or not, almost no difference... smallAmmo goes 600 m/s, spitzer goes 800 m/s medium ammo goes da fuck... other changes seems cool so far only how the silenced winne with HV does 440m/s but without generate a subsonic boom, think its buggy... above 300m/s nothing can move silenced... there should be a possibility to change ammotype to shoot loud if wantet

Sadly the game doesn't have enough players for skill based matchmaking. My 0.8 K/D self is constantly being matched against players like what is presented here (at least 2 arrows pointing up by their name at the death screen). Uninstall level experience.
