my GOD, how the hell can anyone with a conscience and good heart stand having a career having to tell people every episode their loved one was murdered??!!! a person has to be extremely mentally healthy and psychologically resilient to be able to stand doing a heartbreadking extremely stressful job and still be able to laugh and think in a postiive mental state!!! there r HORRIBLE disturbing true stories of real police shooting themeselves to death or commiting suicide because they could not endure the horriblbly stressful job of having to see dead bodies whenever there is a murder that she or he has to go on the scene and investigate. and because they do not have the EXTREMELY STRONG POSITVIE MENTAL HEALTH TO BE ABLE TO WITHSTAND MENTALLY AND EMOTIONALLY A VERY NEGATIVE STRESSFUL JOB.

Yup. With someone who exhibits such self-loathing and self-destructive tendencies, if her subconscious doesn't get her, the Unconscious likely will. Dreadful. We know this because the leading problem by far is that they fail to take their meds for no apparent reason. Nearly always. Tragic.

The actress who played Rachel did an amazing job here, and nice to see Sgt McCall take a lead for a change (better than Hunter, actually). Just a shame Hollywood dresses female cops SO unrealistically (heels, expertly coiffed hair, lots of faux jewellery, tight skirts etc) in which they could never actually do a cop’s job, but there we go ….

he PD were still very limited with their weapons which each officer carried, then - just their 0.38 pistols usually Since then, the officers have upgraded hand gun weapons, butt still very limited - intentionally

Revolvers have other advantages: 1) they can carry .357 Magnum cartridges, which is far superior then and now to 9mm; has better penetration especially through glass and doors; 2) revolvers don't jam.
