If you're wondering why Pariston smiled about the aura, it's because Ging was right when he said Gon would not die, and when he predicted the outcome of everything. Pariston basically followed Ging's belief in Gon not dying to decide what choices to make against Leorio and Cheadle in order to win the election, that huge amount of nen proved that Gon lived and Ging was correct, thus making Pariston win the election. Cheadle pretty much lost because she had no faith in Ging's words and did not plan ahead based on what Ging said. It's unknown how Ging really knew, it's probably because he's super smart and he keeps tabs on everything powerful since he is the best archaeologist hunter (meaning he knows the darkest secrets of the world) and one of the best nen users in the world whilst being a double star hunter (he can get his hands on any information through the hunter association he wants or figure it out himself) and knew that Something/Alluka would end up helping Gon, but only time will tell if Togashi ever returns. Also Imon, that immense amount of nen isn't Gon fighting back, that's just the amount of nen Gon used to become what he was against Pitou, only Something/Alluka undid that with the same amount of nen. Everybody's reaction to the nen is basically how everyone would react to Gon's power when he faught Pitou. Although Ging isn't too suprised because he's probably seen things more powerful, Pariston as well.

The reason killua doesn't want gon to know right now is because he wants him to finally apologize (he said so when first visiting gon). Before this, killua didn't ask for an apology for any of gon's mistakes because he believed gon saved him by simply being his friend (this is inferred when gon wakes up after killua knocked him out after first meeting pitou, killua says gon is his light that lead him out of the darkness of his life) I included the parenthetical comments to counter people always accusing me off releasing spoilers. I never try to spoil, always trying to use information they already know but may not think of at the time. I have slipped up a few times, getting confused when things happen. However, even when I only use prior information people constantly accuse me of spoiling. This time I decided to cite my work

I just hope that they'll react to the original version; which is the 1999 HxH! If not, then maybe spare some time with the manga itself! Or if you guys want to react to a new anime on your channel, I just hope you'll react to Naruto or Bleach anime. If you guys wanted to react 1999's HxH, then here's what to expect: -New intro/outro song every arc. -Kite's real first debut! (you'll understand why Gon's really having a mental breakdown; because for me, if you watch first the 2011 version, it won't connect to the emotion that Gon had in that 130ep). -Hunter Exam's 2nd Phase(more screen time than the 2011's). -Silva Zoldyck's true appearance (Zoldyck's hair are either white or black); no such thing as blonde Zoldyck, dunno why they make Silva the blonde dude in 2011. -Ponzu and Pokkle more screen time(even though its non-canon) but you guys will surely love it 'cause you already know they gonna die in Chimera Ant Arc. -Canary and Killua's backstory probably gives you the chills! It's more on the emotional side compared to the 2011's. -YorkNew Arc is best in 1999 because of the pacing! But can't deny the fact that 2011's OSTs are the bomb! (IMO) -Chrollo's cute & angelic appearance. 2011's more fierce to me. -Illumi and Hisoka's appearance.................*** -Pakunoda's death (really gives me the chills and goosebumps compared to 2011's). -Don't watch Greed Island Arc 1999/2002-3(?). Animation is bad compared to the 2011's

Theres a crazy theory about ging and gon. In greed island exists a card that can make you pregnant if you have the card a few days or something and it diesnt matter if you a girl or boy! It can be that ging had this card without knowing and thats how gon is born and thats why ging is like how he is with him but still loves him and want him to be strong. I dont know it rly fits with hunter x hunter that gon was just a mistake 🤣

I always felt the 'something' story line of healing Gon felt to much like a cop-out. Don't get me wrong I wanted Gon healed or resorted in some way but the choice to give up all his potential to avenge Kit hit me so hard that when there was kinda a hand wave and he's fine again later it feels really disappointing. Also kinda felt like a deus ex machina tossed in just to fix Gon.

At least Something's origin is explained, also means now killua has to be on the run of his brother it also made it that gon isn't an active hunter anymore because he never follwed ging after getting healed because his nen was sealed so he wasn't able to sense how impressive his dad was so now he's retired. So as far a dues ex machina goes this one does come out of no where but heavily changed everyone's story. Gon being healed also stopped leorio from being the next chairman. And gave us insight into what hunters can sense aura on that level from that distance and gave us a zoldyck family backstory and story arc.

I kind of agree Togashi went too far this time. I don't mind when he brings back a character after using up their narrative potential in the arc like when he brought back Genki after the Dark Tournament because Yusuke still changed and reversing her death the way he did didn't wipe away the development her death allowed. But this time I don't see what purpose Gon's hospitalization served for the characters; Gon doesn't seem different, Killua demands apologies now I guess, and I guess Aluka is introduced but it seems like too much for too little.
