Btw Ging is also the only one that passed the Exam of his year. Told by Satotz to Gon in the manga but anime left it out.

Well remember just knowing nen puts killua so far of everyone else, hisoka and killua brother were exceptionally rare and are in the top 0ne percent of fighters and nen users . Most people who enter the hunter the exam don't know nen

@@kc_h7h Illumi needs a hunter card which would help him immensely in his next job. Thats the reason why he took the test, he said it himself. As for Hisoka, I think he was just doing Hisoka things..

I think it means rolling bad luck will result in bad luck equal to the accumulated good luck from every player in the game who has rolled so far, not just the individual with that particular dice.

I love how Killua blew pass the Hunter Exam, like it was nothing at all😅. While it might be a bit anticlimactic. It actually makes sense, given how advanced his skills and abilities have become since the first arc.

Which is part of what irks me about the guys that decided to quit the Hunter Exam after seeing how advanced Killua is. Killua is already a prodigy in his own family of legendary assassins, now add to that the training he's gotten from very good Nen teachers and he's leagues beyond most people. Comparing yourself to him is foolish to say the least. Just because he's already so far ahead doesn't mean you can't achieve success in your own right. Run your own marathon. People have different starting spots, different growth rates and different plateaus. Stop comparing yourself to others, let them inspire you not discourage you. Comparison is the thief of joy.

@@kutr1841 Thats fine for life in general. But in the hunter exam you are competing with other and just a handfull pass sometimes nobody pass. So seeing that you are outmatched is a fine thing to see and stop wasting your time. Remember that Killua kicked their collective asses last time and he failed the exam (they don't know the circunstances).

I think the exam is just to show how far Killua advanced after a year. It is highly doubtful that in this test, everyone else was scrub that couldnt have posed problems for him that he remained unscathed and not even tired. Even an opponent of Hanzo's level could pose a bit of a problem and assuming there were 3 or 4 of Hanzo's level in this exam is not really unlikely.

@@cinderburn2660 Using nen and not using nen put you in two total different leagues. Killua before learning nen couldn't walk a hallway just by the nen pressure that Hisoka put there. You can have 20 Hanzo's that without nen they can go near him and the increment in defense would be difficult to overcome, it isn't weird for a nen user to deflect bullets.

One thing that isn't really clear with the cards and the importance of collecting some of them: There is two types of cards that are important or not depending on the number in the top left corner. There is the cards numbered 1 to 99 which once all collected by a player will end the game. And there is the cards above 100 that are spells or items that you don't need to complete to end the game. That's why Gon and Killua are collecting cards with effects that doesn't seem really useful, since they want to finish the game they have to collect them and not use them. Also it is important to note that not all 100 "slotted" cards are rarer than the other cards (some slotted cards are B or C) since the rarity of a card depend on the difficulty to obtain it.

The exam is done once a year, that means that Gon and Killua are already thirteen years old.

Gon and Killua are actually still 12. It's a bit of a common plothole though in manga/anime and cartoons where the creator keeps the characters the same age no matter how much time passes (think Baki or the Simpsons).

@@ChawkyVirus they're still 12 during the Chimera Ant (check ep. 93, Date with Palm), but it's a plot hole because it contradicts the timeline. they "should" be 13-14 during the CA arc but the story literally says Gon is still 12 years old.

Last exam was exceptional, the rate for a first timer passing is 1 every 7 exams or years, I don't remember which. And as to why no one strong was here you have to remember that last time Hisoka was only there cause he had to retake after almost killing an examiner last time, so if he passed last time Illumi would have been the only applicant there who could use nen and Hanzo would have been number 2 because of him already having some of his nen pours open which is why at the time Killua thought he was close to Hisoka in strength because he couldn't fully gauge it yet.

It seems no one is strong right now because Killua is so far ahead. In last year exams, there were lots of strong people, Hisoka and Illumi just eliminated most of them. It is not unrealistic to assume that in this exam, there are 3-4 applicants of Hanzo's level but then again, at this point it would be not a problem for Killua and he defeated everyone unscathed. Even in the previous exam, if Hisoka and Illumi wasn't there, Killua would and could pass it easily.

Genthru would have died without knowing how he died. It was hinted they actually chanced upon members of spiders and not acted on it since they sense a big power difference.

Glad you're reading the cards, this arc is WAY more fun if you do, since you get to see all the weird crazy stuff you can potentially take into the real world if you win the game.

Same as the rule that you can't get a second hunter licence, so it makes no sense for Hisoka to be there. 22:41 Good observation. There were a few details from the manga missing in this episode. All dice in the game are connected, so bad luck cancels out every good luck from everyone else. 25:47 Parker looking at Morgan in disbelief. 😂

I love how the crew thinks Hisoka can do whatever he wants regarding taking the exam again. They forget about Netero the chairman who is easily one of the top 5 nen users in the HXH and who can easily defeat Hisoka. But they don't know about Netero yet so I'll forgive them.
