Loveing this series. All your opinions of the nms/gear/experiences are near identical to mine.. I used to kill mimas all the time while elemental farming.. i never got the drop..

I love these videos! So much nostalgia (helps I play on a private server). A shout out to the Ghost NMs of Gusgen Mines and the accompanying siren that announced their pop, making nearly every noob wet themselves out of fear the first time they ever hear it, lol A bit sad you didn't cover Deadly Dodo (he's technically 39-40)... unless your saving him for the next video along with the other 2 in the set? ;) (Brown Belt represent!) Regardless keep up the good work! EDIT: BTW, you weren't the only one. I always thought he was a scorpion for the longest time too (Even after I did the BCNM to get the PCC, too~)

I camped the hell out of Cargo Crab Colin in Korroloka Tunnel for the Nadrs sword. I NEEDED that for my blu just because of how cool it looked for the level range lol.

The infamous Yinyang Robe.... Camping that NM at 75 cap was insane. But it was THE ultimate SMN body. Even at 99 cap i kept mine, considering how difficult and monumental it was for me to get lol

Argus was the bane of my FFXI life. It took me years. Weeks and weeks upon weeks of camping argus and didnt see him for the first year. Took me 2 years to claim the drop

Being one of the leaders of Monsters Inc, BST/SMN LS, Shikigami weapon, who dropped YYR, was probably our most sought after NM. I literally kept ToD on it for weeks. 21 hour respawn and only a 15 minute window. Popped invisible and you had to magic aggro to spawn it. Furious widescan spamming for an anxious 15 mins. It was a lot of fun.

I camped Argus for 27 hours straight. I was sooo determined to get that charm for my rng. What freaked me out the most and, probably woke me up a lot too, was that people came into the spawning area every once in a while. Then I'd have to run back and forth like a mad taru, displaying my amazing skills as I killed some random mobs and then turned to face them; with full view of area still in sight of course. They'd eventually leave and I could stop jumping up and down in my chair -- because I had to pee really bad. Screw bodily functions! I would have worn a diaper if I had one available. I was not leaving my computer for even an instant. Eventually I just started peeing in a "bottle"... Yeah, I know! But that's how fucking hardcore you had to be in order to get the drops you really wanted. That charm was going to be mine and I was going to call it my bitch! -- And then, delivered unto me with angels singing in my head, he appeared. The most beutiful creation in existance, for about 3-4 more minutes (I think?). Then I had my necklace and I was all "FUCK YEAH!!!" and LS was going "Oh shit" and "Graaaats" and there were lots of emojiis and shit... I was in heaven! For a week after doing that insane camping, I was untouchable! I was the man, I was the shit and I was a true FFXI player! You try telling that stuff to people that wasn't there and you'd be labeled an idiot FAST. But to everyone else... /fistbump -- We know, don't we!?
