The Andes are chok full of feral sheep and goats. Its shame. They should be culled and replaced by game animals that endangered in the Himalayas, Pamirs and Tian Shan mountains They should do wonderful there starting with Wild Yaks and Argali Sheep. The Altai Plana ain't no Tibetan plateau but it would be a help.
