I spent several hours searching for Native American artifacts and arrowheads on the Blanco river in Texas after work and on my days off for the last week or so. I have uploaded several videos before this one. Check out my 48 min video if you want to see some of my best finds at the beginning of that video. The best finds of this video are a very possible chert throwing tomahawk axe and two insane drills with one of them being very unique and the other just perfect textbook yellow chert drill slash scraper. I found some really awesome axes scrapers lanceolate spear points knives hand saws pre forms art pieces and various unidentified tools. I also find some dinosaur bones which are pretty cool. My first find turns out to be one of my favorite of the video. It's either a huge preform or a huge hand saw or some sort of scraper knife. Some of the finds are just flakes and pre forms but they are cool regardless. I like to share them in case anybody has some input on what they might have been. I also find a really nice bone scraper along with some of the craziest knives I have ever seen. One of the knives resembles the chief bird which I showed a sculpture of in a previous video. This area of the river is known for various tribes throughout history but it seems most of what I find can be traced back to Paleo and archaic based on the Texas arrowhead identification website. I find several guadalupe points which arent the coolest since they dont have bases but the cool thing is that they were used by the Paleo Indians before the bow and arrow was utalized placing the time they were created thousands of years older than standard looking arrow points. I have found some awesome artistic artifacts here in the past. Check out my video on the horse and indian head sculptures. They were both found here as well. I find lots of bird head shaped scrapers and very unique artifacts here often times in the shape of various animals and so forth. Since I started working on this video I already found another insanely awesome vibrant blue chert tomahawk axe. I will continue to upload videos as I find more artifacts. If you enjoyed the video please subscribe to help me reach my goal of 1000 subs. Thanks for watching!
