Hunting Currasow in the Jungles of Mexico

The hunt for a male currasow, the prized jungle bird from the wilds of the Yucatán jungle is the focus of our adventure in Mexico. We will not only share the hunt but also the fascinating process of how the trophy is prepared so that it can be shipped to the taxidermist. Beautiful bird man! Me and every taxidermist I know would’ve actually just cut a line down the breast bone and skinned the rest out, a lot less to sew up that way 😂
