Hunting for Wild Trout on the Souhegan River

Hunting for Wild Trout on a popular southern New Hampshire river in areas off the beaten trail, where the likelihood in finding and catching native brook trout still exists. Sharing what I find with others who are willing to skip the usual fishing holes for areas a little more remote and off the beaten path. Paraphrasing New Hampshire poet, Robert Frost, in his poem “The Road Not Taken”, Two roads diverged in a wood, and I - I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.
Turns out the area I fished is also known for Bigfoot sightings and reports. Here are the links to articles and reports for Bigfoot activity on the river and in adjacent areas. Good luck with that. Not something I was looking for.

The Souhegan looks really nice!! For some reason I haven't gone before, this definitely makes me want to explore it! :) Might not be remote enough, but have you done any exploration over by New Boston? Had a lot of fun upstream from the town this year.
