Ol Colin, he seems like the definition of a true buddy especially on the elk hunt he was so pumped up for Zach

I have a small creek running through very bottom my property in WNC. Love the kiddie pool idea but hate mosquitoes

1. Whats a good source for precipitation totals by the month nationwide? 2. Spring drought? Summer drought? Fall drought? WY Antilope a month ago... Big snow late winter. Killed off a lot of game. Wet summer so food and water everywhere. (Meanwhile at home it was a summer drought(WI)) This caused low tags and lots of hunters! Tag soup it is.😂

I live in NW Iowa, in the center of town, and have a half dozen deer coming to my neighbors bird baths! They manage to knock all of the bird feed from the feeders while they visit as well. Much to the chagrin of Mrs Schmidt😆 Somebody get Colin a pillow!

I really enjoy talking with Andy May. I recorded a good conversation with him this spring. Unfortunately the video quality didn't turn out well. I will still use it on the audio podcast platform in the next month or so!

Think of a predator circling down wind of a bedding area or during fawning season. Would you want it circling a 1 acre bedding or 300 acer. It would be a lot easier for them to scent check 1 acre than the larger block

I think they are referring to how little man power it takes to work on those small chunks of land to improve habitat, I see where your point is though, we too are predators and it may make it easier for you to hunt a small bedding area then to try and pick apart something very large. Good point though
