Hi mate, I understand that you are looking to get a house in Ostrov village/town on the Danube River. As a Bulgarian I just want to advise you to consider some things. 1. I am 100% sure that you will not see 5 bridges over the river in your lifetime. 2. The roads/ connections from your place. 3. Mosquitos. It’s just nature, mate, you are on a big river. Ask other expats about that problem over the warm months of the year. If big mosquitoes are not a problem for you then that’s not a worry.

@greenfighter818 cheers for your concerns we now have bought a house in ostrov 🤣 We do know about mosquitoes 🦟 it's no different anywhere in the world if you could see my legs now that's from Lincolnshire UK they had a all you can eat buffet on me 🤣 Roads not a problem we are going over in our 4x4 Landrover freelander and will be kitted out with chunky tyres the lot also buying a Russian zil 6x6 so think we won't get stuck 😉 We are in a local ostrov group so before buying we asked lots of questions and did research. This is only 1 of many houses its not the area we was after iam going to film a vlog for yt explaining more wevwere looking for central around VT area

If you raffle it the winner would need a hgv licence this may restrict the amount of tickets you will be able to to sell good luck

@daiwilliams425 no would cost too much as I can not register it in Bulgaria I've explained in other posts so on my v5 I don't have a k type approval number so can not be imported and Bulgaria plates fitted which as I will be living there has to be done within 6 months so becomes a ornament in my garden never to be driven again
