Is it best to log as a hunter? I thought the activators log so there's no need to log as a hunter?

For POTA you do not submit logs as a hunter, but you might want to log you contacts for verification, awards or if it is required by your countries regulating body. I have moved my ham radio content over to a dedicated channel. It can be found at youtube.com/@graymanpota.

Hey Jessica, thanks for watching and it looks like @David-KO4GAR beat me to it, but the Parks on the Air program is a fun activity for ham radio operators. There are 2 groups of operators, activators and hunters. Activators go out to a state or federal park and setup their gear and see how many contacts they can make with other stations. The hunters are ham radio operators that try to make contact with the activators. Once the activator makes 10 contacts from a designated park, then they have activated that park.
