@@AfricanSunProductions it was in April 2017 on various places between Bloemfontein and Park Kruger. I only had my tele-lense on my Canon EOS, not my trusty 9,3x62 carabine. Great photos (big five, girafes, hippos , monkeys and many antilopes) . Now, Africa is an addiction. I am looking forward for videos to come. Greetings from France.

The angle on that Impala seemed difficult. Hard to tell which way it was facing or what he was shooting at. Not too surprised that it wasn’t a clean killing shot…

Why don't the ph's have tracking dogs like the ph's have at John X safaris? Really to go look for a wounded impala ram the next day only and for the client's wife to find it and not even Huntershill employees says alot. Nevertheless a lovely video. Beautiful bushveld and an abundance of great quality game species. 👌🏻😁

Hi Brian. It's always interesting to see those dogs at work, I love it. Some PHs prefer not to hunt with them, some do. I does make logistics easier when you travel without a dog. Honestly the amount of times an animal is not found the same day is very low, with or without a dog. Thank you for watching though, much appreciated.

The Impala was shot at last light. They looked hard for it until light ran out. The wife somehow saw the animal while driving to go back out to look for it.

I’m from Australia , just got my gun licence and going to start practicing on target up at the range ,, I hope to hunt pests in my country , wild animals that destroy farms ,, do you hunt these animals for food ?

Great stuff, congratulations! I agree, always get your skills tuned in first before hunting anything, even pests. We do eat all of these animals. Of course there is too much meat for the hunter alone, so the whole camp will join in and the remaining meat is either donated to schools or sold to a butcher.
