Great video! I have knocked down a couple of eider and 1 longtail duck on Bailey Island as well. It was much colder when I hunted it. Your footage captured the Maine experience perfectly

Since I’m moving to Florida and that Lake Seminole falls into Florida. I’m going to try to get my father there for Canvasbacks. He’s always wanted to get one so I’m going to get him there for it. It’s nice to see you take your father out for that hunt.

What hearing protection are you using? I’ve been looking for something low profile like that. The electronic muffs are too bulky for comfortable shooting.

I am using AXIL Custom performance hearing aids, but they have a lot of less bulky options as well.

I have been duck hunting for more than 50 years now! I have always shot a 12 gauge or 16 gaugeo sometimes 10 gauge side by side! The video shows are are in my opinion sending the wrong message for new hunters! Its not about killing as many ducks as possible and you never see these hunters picking up the tons of shell casing the leave floating in the water also make your own decoys it really makes it that more rewarding to have ducks come into your hand carved blocks
