Fun fact: the Gàidhlig word for the Loch Ness Monster (at least according to my Duolingo lessons) is Niseag! Additional fun fact: the word for kitten is piseag. I like thinking of Nessie as a giant water kitten who just has a good time and occasionally does chaotic things to scare or mess with the locals. 😁

I completely agree, the game has a very interesting premise, the atmosphere is really cool but it really needs polishing and I don't know how the thing with the boat wasn't one of the 1st things fixed in the game because it's so obvious and often happening, I just don't believe the devs don't know about it and not having a way to fix it. It's very frustrating and game breaking problem. I understand if they want to make it more challenging in the water but they can implement boat durability and if Nessy hits and flip your boat or you just crash it so you can watch out for the current boat HP, but a button to flip the boat is definetly a must. It doesn't even need the animation, just to spawn it back near you.

Revealing the monster on the title screen seems like a very silly move tbh. most of the tension in any monster related game or movie is from not knowing the appearance of the monster itself.

It looks promising at first until the bugs and the lack of control options and the empty lake. At least have some fishing spots in the map instead of having to row the entire lake to look for it. Overall for my POV the current game looks hard because of the unfair gameplay that's just not really fun to go through.

The same thing happened to me lol. I love the Loch Ness Monster and it's my favorite cryptid but I'm terrified of it because of the nightmare I had. Also anytime I watch a film about Nessie I can't watch the underwater scenes because that was part of my nightmare.
