I’ve avoided anything and everything JHD/HD it’s just too hard 😓since my daughter was taken from me at 30 yrs old. Leaving behind a young son who is likely to have inherited this disease. Thanks to people like Matt, he’s the voice for those who can no longer speak and shines a light for those who dwell in the the shadows. Love you Matt wherever you might be

I shared an apartment with someone who had the HD gene. He was in his forties and still had a great job. His doctor put him on a very high protein diet with only grass fed, free range organic meats and veggies. He seemed to be very well in the year I lived there.

Sending my love from the lost river valley in Idaho. Hunningtons took my high school sweetheart and beyond. It also took his dad and 4 siblings. I hope for a cure so no one will suffer like this. To those with Hunningtons you truly are warriors ❤

Brave young man and family. I cannot imagine the complexity of learning/growth/grieving/reframing that any individual, much less family, deals with this. I hope a cure comes soon and bless all those who have gone before and who have been caretakers as well.

A brave young man ,at least nowadays if one partner has HD they would go for IVF and the embryo who don't have the gene is implanted....saving future generations .

I don’t know why he wants so many languages it’s I think 90% in English-speaking people and it’s almost 100% European descent not Africa not Finland China or Japan so he doesn’t have to worry about those languages

Tom Thumb I understand your point, however, there are things which we don’t understand and just because we don’t understand them doesn’t disqualify the idea of a creator. The unjust suffering of people is something that is extremely difficult to justify from a human’s perspective because we are not all-knowing and our range of vision is limited to the present and simple predictions of the future. You do not know the potential positives of these negative situations. You are not aware of the domino effect of positivity which could occur from these painful situations.

Tom, we don't know why God gives us troubles or evil diseases like Huntington's. It's hard to understand, but if you have a relationship with God, you just trust Him.
