@jack hlms He isn't better than Danny. Maybe he has certain skills that are slightly more technical than Danny but Danny is a better all around drummer. Danny is probably one of the few drummers that could fill in for Meshuggah and do a pretty good job at playing those drums parts. Danny is a huge fan of Mesguggah so he probably studies Tomas playing

I love Danny Carey, but he's at a level with other drummers that you cannot compare directly. Rush and Tool are two technically different bands, with completely different sounds. I love Carey for his attitude and his creativity and intensity.
