we all have our bad days. Even the man himself is allowed a train wreck or 2 on stage. they have had some pretty good ones, adam jones is the band owner and he's had some doozies. but the professionalism by these guys is what stands out here, to just keep the show going without skipping a beat is dedication to the craft. Difficult pitch to hit even when your voice is well rested. I can't imagine how hard it is when you've been touring for awhile and your throat is raw. He has one of the best live voices I've ever heard, though. So many artists only sound good in the studio.

Just clear everything...he did not forget the lyrics...his voice clearly cracks, and if you noticed when he sing's "This body holding me, he stumbles and strangles (shaking) the mic, but he also hits the note with a vibrato, he needed a break, everybody gets pissed off and pulls fits because it builds up to a point where u gotta let it out, just saying, he cracked on 4 songs and was missing notes galore in stinkfist, he's cracked many times and only did this once by the way ;) Tool fuckin owns!

The rest of the band continued the song and went onto the next and towards the end maynard finally came back. It was disappointing that it happened, but it was better than the whole band walking off stage and the show ending. True professionals.

I remember seeing Bob Mould once playing a solo show and he had a new 12-string that just would not stay in tune no matter what he did. He finally threw it on the floor and walked off the stage. Mistakes and technical glitches are frustrating, and sometimes can bring out the passion.

@Zee96969696 When bands go on tour, its generally normal for the singer to not sound perfect, as they're doing a ton of singing. For example, try screaming for just 10 minutes, you're gonna lose your voice for a couple days. Now realize they sing for hours and hours every other day.
