Stu- with regards to shotgun cartridges for pigs, which option is better a clean kill for you for the typical shooting you do? (For the average sized boar) 1. SG 2 pellets 2. SSG 4 pellets 3. BB 12 pellets Would be educative to hear your thoughts :-)
@HuntingwithStu3 жыл бұрын
the 12 pellets mate as this has a 'curtain' effect across the boar. Too many times pigs will get away wounded as the gaps between the 4 pellets is too great especially as they hit the target out 30 to 40 meters.

We are there to thin out the numbers and in this area they carry diseases so we leave em mate. Within a week other predators and pigs clean up the carcasses.

Stu do you process and eat the pigs or just hunt them for sport? There seems to be so many of them that you can pick what you want to do. Just like in Texas. You can process n eat or say screw it leave em there.
