Fun fact from us Aussies. We have A lot of Huntsman species but a standout is the Delena cancerides which is a COMMUNAL Huntsman, up to 150 members strong is recorded and led by one large matriarch. I can actually say as a kid pulling a piece of bark of a tree to see them all underneath is definantly something! Aussie wildlife for the win!

No kidding! I just googled what H. sp. flores will look like and a picture of an H. lunula caught my eye. Pretty impressive! I kinda think the rings on the legs of mature H. sp. flores are cool looking, too, though. And the striped legs of H. venatoria are visually striking imo. The lichen huntsman is pretty as well, with all those mottled greens.

Hey Petko, typically i don't kill or move the spider Opiliones out of my house and today i was gifted to witness a live catch from one living under my cupboard =D A fly (which was annoying me for several days) flew into her web, i just heard the fly trying to escape the web, looked down and saw the spider coming down and start webbing the fly and biting it. After around 5 minutes the spider crawled up her web with his prey. I was thinking the fly wasn't lucky enough to get killed fast by me haha

Cool that you watch feeding videos with your nephew- I watch them with my niece. Ever since I told her there's a tarantula with the same (species) name as her, she's been interested. Lol She even likes to go on spider walks! The main reason for my comment is: if you're interested, Petko, Tarantula Kat, and The Tarantula Collective all have _great_ beginner Tarantula videos, all with mostly different suggestions. Even if you're not into any of the Ts they suggest, the videos are fun anyway. Check 'em out if you'd like. Cheers!

Males seems to remain more slender and the females pack on some bulk. P.S I live in Japan so these are Japanese variant. I’ve seen some in the wild here easily approaching 7 inches.
