Na it's definitely not making a comeback it's same as always a few manufacturers pump out a couple 16 ga models every decade or so they don't sell very well mainly because 16 ga ammo isn't readily available commercially.

Need a compact version. Time to upgrade 16 ga to 3” chambers.

Nice video. I like the length of pull since I am 6 2. The safety to me is kind of hard to move around.

There is a nice video on youtube about how to bypass that

Not sure about aluminum though. Seems like it would tarnish over time

16 is the best do all. It’s a shame manufacturers don’t make more 3 in chambered guns and 3 in Ammo for hunting ducks and Turkey. If they did I would get rid of my 12s and replace it with a Franchi Affinity in 16

* Ron, that tang is called the top lever. To bad it doesn't have double triggers, especially for wild flushing birds like Pheasants, Sharptail's, Prairie Chickens, or even ducks and doves, etc.
@leonwilcox8020 Жыл бұрын
Double triggers are pointless tho. Much better to have a single trigger that goes off reliably every time
@charlessmith4242 Жыл бұрын
@@leonwilcox8020 * Are you trying to tell me that double triggers are not reliable? Back in the day a single trigger was an option due to their unreliable nature. This is the problem, the gun manufacturers have been catering to the target shooters, and bird hunters must suffer because of it. Any good bird hunter that hunts with a double gun should know, and want their shotgun to be equipped with double triggers. Double triggers gives the hunter the instant choice of two chokes. He can make-up his mind on which choke would be best utilized for the shot that is presented to him as he mounts his gun. A hunter with a single trigger can not do the same. If he wants to switch chokes, he can't do that as quick as the hunter that only has to move his trigger finger one inch. Want to shoot targets get a single trigger gun. I do realize that becoming an excellent wing shot is harder these days. There is not as much of an opportunity to hunt real wild birds. Pen raised birds don't qualify since most of them are poor flyers, and can be hard to get into the air.

If you can find a true 16 not just a12ga. frame that shoots 16 you will have a true treasure, nothing handles as fast combined with enough bang to reach out as a 16. Don't tell me a 20 with a 3" shell shoots as good, I shoot both, the 16 reaches out further.

I'm looking to covert the ejector to an extractor to spare the back picking up spent hauls. How do you remove the ejector slide bars?
@leonwilcox8020 Жыл бұрын
Don't need to do that just don't crack your gun open as hard and it'll act like it has ejectors. Thank me later before you ruined an awesome shotgun
@ShaunPaget Жыл бұрын
@@leonwilcox8020 I tried that. The electors work like a trigger. Once they reach a specific point they release they already clearing the breach block. I found the sears for the electors and removed them. The electors now rid the breach face open and closed. I use the gun as dedicated range gun. So much better with the safety and ejectors disabled.
