This song perfectly describes me dealing with depression through past 6 years, and sometimes I still struggle with it. Just 2 days ago I managed to talk with these guys in Belgrade before the show and they are so kind and lovely. Johnny is that kind of a guy who makes fun and jokes all the time during conversation and I have much respect to him as an artist and song writer since he inspired me to write my own songs (on English). I even played basketball with Funny Man, JDog and Charlie for roughly 40 minutes and had so much fun. Definitely one of best days in my life, time well spent with people who changed my life on one way or another and especially helping me deal with a lot of bad stuff that comes on my mind through their songs. Hopefully I'll see them once again, 'cause I don't want this to be the only time. Oh yeah, and sorry guys for wearing Linkin Park's shirt, it was purely in honor of Chester Bennington, but I promise for the next time, I will bring official HU one since I don't like buying fan made stuff. See you next time in Belgrade and thanks again fellas!

I really appriciate how H.U always aims to tell a story, not making music videos just for the sake of it, but instead telling a story with them, some more subtle than others. in this one from what i interpreted, the man had a dream, he wanted to go to mars, to space. but he didnt managed to do it and now as he's old and dying, he has a vision of finally accomplishing his dream, despite his age and sickness. I don't know, i just got goosebumps all the way through.

So probably no one's gonna see this but I just write it down. It's been 3 years when I first heared my first ever Hollywood Undead song: Dead In Ditches, I liked it and searched for more. I fell in love with Undead and Everywhere I Go. After that I fell in love with couple more like Take Me Home, City, Belive, Bullet etc. When I first heared this song, I could not help the emotions and cried. After 3 years I had a chance to get to a concert and meet them in person. Sadly there was not enough time for us to talk more then a few words. I wanted that moment to last for hours, because only that much time could have been enough for me to tell them how much I love their music. How much it helped me, and how much I respect every single one of them one by one. Somewhere deep down I'm hoping that they'll get my message. I would gone crazy if these guys weren't there for me! Glad to be part of the Undead Army, and promised myself that I will never ever quit listening to them. Thank you Charlie for your lines, because I can relate to them 100% Thank you Johnny for being so kind with me in person. Thank you JDog for that little hug at the meeting. Thank you Danny for your angelic voice, giving me goosebumps. Thank you FunnyMan for being so awesome and cool! Thank you UndeadArmy for being one of the best and friendliest community!

This is heatrwarming to read your story. It makes even me happy that people have good memories about HU. Music is a great medicine and I see that these guys' music healed a lot of people. I'm somewhy glad that you shared your good memories of a concert with people. I don't know why, but it gives me hope that the band members give unforgettable times to literally everyone who meets them. A lot of people wrote comments about how they first heard Hollywood Undead songs and how they met the band, but I decided to reply to your comment because, well, as your name shows you seem to be Hungarian, like me. Because of some unknown reason I wanted to write. I have no clues, maybe I thought I can make you smile with this pile of shit I wrote. Anyways, lets go Hungarian UndeadArmy, let's keep listening to HU and vibe!

I don't like how people say "they've lost their style", they never had one specific style! The Album DotD is the perfect example. They fit How We Roll, I'll Be There, Disease and Does Everybody in the World Have To Die in there, which are completely different styles! And that's exactly what I love about them. It doesn't matter in what mood you are, you can listen to their music everytime - when you're sad, listen to Black Dahlia or the Diary or Circles or some other sad songs, when you're happy, listen to party songs like Party By Myself, War Child or How We Roll, when you're angry, listen to Been To Hell, Undead or Mother Murder. They can't 'lose their style' and they can't 'change it', they can just decide to do more sad songs or more party songs or whatever. Just needed to get this off my chest.

Lyrics: I just want a life that seems a little better than a dream But I just can't seem to get on my feet So I gotta let go, gotta let go, gotta let go I'll hope someday that you will know I sit back and think about the life I've had So much to change, but I can't go back What happened to that kid? He used to play in the street I think about that kid, he looked just like me Had a smile, had a home, never grow old When we grow up, do we have to grow cold? Spent his whole life looking for salvation Never realized nobody could save him So all these words, for what they're worth I know it's hard, I know it hurts And we laugh at the past 'cause it's how we learn Welcome to the world, now let's watch it burn I just want a life that seems a little better than a dream But I just can't seem to get on my feet So I gotta let go, gotta let go, gotta let go I'll hope someday that you will know You gotta let go, gotta let go I hope someday you'll understand Sometimes it's hidden, wish that I could see A future picture of an older me Would he be smiling and would he be happy? Would he say a thousand words while looking right at me? Is he different or the same old me? Is he still chasing after these same old dreams? I know that I'll never reach perfection At least he could point me in the right direction Some grow old, and some grow cold They'd sell their souls for a heart of gold God only knows where the hell would I be If I had the old me sitting beside me I just want a life that seems a little better than a dream But I just can't seem to get on my feet So I gotta let go, gotta let go, gotta let go I'll hope someday that you will know You gotta let go, you gotta let go, you gotta let go I hope someday you'll understand no one knows what it's like to be alone Please, tell me, is anyone out there? Didn't elvis prestly always have his collar popped up the way Charlie scene did in this 🤔🤷🏻♀️. I was kinda waiting on Charlie to do a hip move. Not hip trendy, but move his actual hips. Bc I'm pretty sure Elvis did that too
@DarkSoulThieves6 жыл бұрын
Ahhw E-Any i think that used to be a dress trend back in the 60's to the 80's. Im guessing he decided to pop his up to try and make it a current trend attempt. But i will say thats it's new for them to take their masks off for a music video lol

In a way I grew with these guys. Swan Songs came out when I was in middle school and me and all my dumb friends thought we were gangsters. Grew up, lived a lot of life. Military, actual criminal shit, lost friends and family. Now listening to this at 23 it fits just as much as my 13 year old self riding around on my busted board spraypainting shit with my dumb friends listening to No5. You learn what it's really about so quickly. Life is crazy.

Rem Bea well, when I was 16 - 18 life was different, I didn't have time to sit back and think about stuff. Now, when I am 24, my life seems to get better, but I don't have someone to share things with, except for my family. I know, things will get better someday, but when you're going through it, it's hard. But hey, I don't give up on life, and all I can say - fuck depression.

Charlie looks a bit like Elvis lol.. Anyway, jokes aside, this song is absolutely amazing. I relate to it so much and so does my sister. My sister suffers with depression, once our grandfather died. This song motivates her and helps her let it all out, as it sounds like a song she'd sing for grandad...if only he lived for longer...he meant so much to us... I love you guys. I'm so happy I found and fall in love with you guys. I can't wait to see you guys in Leeds, this year in April. I hope you'll play this song! xxx

Of all of their songs which I consider the best for various reasons (Young for the incredible bridge, lyrics and sound. Undead for its agressivness and hype. This Love, This Hate is entirely perfect, from the first tone to the deep brigde. We Are for the introduction to this magnificent band, and it also happened in the best year of my life.) this comes on top. The beat, the chorus, the lyrics, the message. This song will always be my absolute favorite until the end of my days. Thank you.
