The front grille is too 'raked up' and tall - the whole point of what made the front end of the Huracan iconic is it was a Perfect modern and minimalist Wedged shaped design. Gallardo styling was controversial and most people preferred the Audi R8. New Lamborghini’s look too corvette/mclaren in the worst ways right now. Who knows, I am a big time 458 fan and had a similar reaction when the Roma came out but it grew on me, most of these newer cars, atleast from Lamborghini, ferrai (maybe not all), aston martin etc are trying to evolve their design by introducing something new but that requires drastic design change and we humans hate change so I guess 5 years from now this will be treated the same as the huracan. The engine is bonkers btw definitely gonna sound better than the 296.

It would be almost impossible. There is a electrim motor integrated in the gearbox and front wheels are driven by two electric motors alone. It would need a new gearbox and will end up being RWD alone.

I think the real takeaway is that no one cares anymore. Back in the day lambos and ferraris used to be truly special. Rarely would you see one on the road. Now they are a dime a dozen. The only thing special now is the hypercars ie Pagani, Egg, Bug etc…. How?? It's the Spanish name of a fighting bull, like almost every other Lamborghini. Most sources say they could not find one named this, but one mentioned a bull from Begoña named Temerario. After brief digging, I found that this bull was pardoned in 2023 and is alive today. Anyway the name is a little bit long, I guess? 5 syllables isn't that bad.

I think they said it's around 789hp total and not gonna be 900; at least what I was reading. Also, I have to say I find the design very unattractive. I think the huracan looks a lot better and this is just very uninspiring. The talks of 10000 RPM flat plane crank V8 could very much make up for that. However with the V12 sounding a lot more subdued I don't know if this huracan will speak to me as it likely will be about 400k+ with options for a coupe.

It’s interesting to observe how cars we love evolve throughout their life span. For me the greatest esthetic - call it balance - improvement on the Huracan was the modified profile treatment (behind the windows) on the Tecnica. It made the car look slimmer and more elegant without cancelling its agressive stance. The STO, which has a specific purpose, is too fussy in my opinion, a bit like the 992 GT3 RS. My fear when I saw the first renderings and the spy shots of what is admittedly the forthcoming Temerario, is that it looks a bit dull and ordinary, without much character - of which the Huracan never lacked. But then the Revuelto in camouflage outfit didn’t let one see what it really would look like when revealed to the world. So I’ll keep up my hopes, but at this stage, even if what Bembli explains is very interesting indeed, I don’t quite share his conviction. I just hope reality will prove me wrong ! 😎

No idea why but the side reminds me of the McLaren GT. But yeah, other commenters have a point when they say it looks like a GTA5 car. The rear end with the way it lifts up at the wheels and exposes them is very aggressive, but the side is sleek and simple and the front can e summed up in 3 letters: DRL. They're like the radar cruise module on the Roma, a huge wart on an otherwise pretty face.

Nice summary. Thank you. As the current owner of Huracan I am on the fence. My V10 is such a nice engine that sounds excellent. Much better than F488 and comparable to F458 (best sports car ever made in my opinion). I am on the list for the new Temerario. But I might just buy used Tecnica and call it a day. In house developed V8 TT that revs at 10k RPM. That is not a good thing. I would be more at ease if it was an Audi developed V8 TT. Before the current Huracan I had 992 911 GTS in a lightweight package and MB AMG GTR (various M3s, Nissan GTR, couple 911 Turbo). I can say that the V8 TT in AMG GTR is by far the most raw uncontrolled power I have ever experienced. I would not mind seeing that engine in the new Lambo but I know things do not work that way. If I do go with Temerario and they offer me a choice I will for sure go with RWD and no electric motors on the front axle.

So as we all know now, the rumors coming out of Italy is that it will have somewhere around 944hp on normal pump gas, way over 1000 if you run it on race gas and get the ECU re flashed to take account for it..and will be faster and handle better and brake better and be easier to drive and to park than a Revuelto...and cost $300,000 less than a Revuelto...lol...will also be easily tuneable from the aftermarket cuz its a twin turbo...very cool...

Interesting, I was thinking about the Huracán replacement just earlier today! I'm a big fan of the Revuelto's design, but at least in these speculative renders from the camouflage shots the design feels off. There has to be more to that front end at the very least, it doesn't seem to flow very well with the rest of the car. The speculative renders for the Revuelto were also a bit off so I guess I'll wait for the reveal 😄

How does it not flow? It's designed the same way as the Huracan and Aventador. The line at the tip of the hood curves around and connects with the shoulder line just like in every modern Lambo. Also the fins in the front perfectly mirror the lines on the hood above. I'm honestly not sure we're looking at the same car if you think it doesn't flow.

@@realherobrine5636no, those cars still look properly Lamborghini to me. I’d argue the Urus SE is what started the downfall. Lamborghini up to that point had basically become synonymous with the Y shape, and now they’re going back on that for no good reason without replacing it with something that still gives a similar vibe. That’s what’s really throwing me off. And the other problem is that if this is actually the next generation vehicle and not some tribute, that means Lamborghini’s design language isn’t uniform across the lineup. You have the Revuelto that takes heavy inspiration from the Terzo Millennio concept, you have the Temerario that’s more inspired by the new Countach and other Lamborghinis of old in general, and then you have the Urus SE that occupies this weird middle ground. I really hope this is some sort of one off to commemorate the Gallardo or something, because this shit won’t fly

Like many said, the Huracan looks better! The hybrid engine no doube will be crazy powerful!!! The two day time running lights look out of place! Let's hope Lamborghini will make some minor modifications before the final version is set in stone! Lamborghini can learn from Porsche just to integrate the DLRs into the main headlights and not have a separate unit that disrupt the lines on the front end!!!

Rumor has it, the Temerario will have a full CF body and chassis instead of aluminum and CF. This means it will be far lighter and more rigid than the Huracan ever was. This is going to be a FAR FASTER car.

something about the front end seems to be lacking, kinda like the new electric urus. All these cars going to electric is making them seem soft and subdued. Also a v8 in a lambo does not seem special but I still can imagine once the car actually comes out it'll be better than expected... hopefully

The side vents remind me of Gallardo. I know I'm speaking to the choir, but Lamborghini coming out with a car, any car, with a manual transmission would blow up the car world.
