Great to finally see it fixed! Took my car out for a rip today, forgot how much I missed it! It was 60° here today in lansing MI. Also side note, mitsubishi actually really sucked with their aluminum casting. Those cracks in the oil pump and most of the time water pump are very common in these cars. I think that milled pump you have is the first one I've seen without them. Not saying your ex engine builder didn't worsen them, but they were probably there to begin with. And I think it would be pretty hard to warp that face on the block, I was curious about that pump itself being warped if you had intended on using it. Anyways, great video to see! Glad to see it not leaking
@huracanian30513 жыл бұрын
I didn't think the block was warped just had people keep asking if I looked at it .... The pump was on jacked up tho ... It's not flat at all ... And thanks man
@mintymotorsports81203 жыл бұрын
@@huracanian3051 yea I think that was the problem with mine when I installed mine the first time. Second time I got a new pump and new bolts and used proper torque settings, had good results. I need a new pan though, one of the bolt holes is jacked up from one of my other engines chucking a rod at it lol. Considering throwing some low comp. Pistons in it and running a single turbo tho, depends on when I can find a awd rear subframe and trans for the car lol.
