I never understood why everyone favored Mahidevran when all she ever did was cry. She couldn’t even raise her son properly. She made him turn into a greedy and arrogant man. Hurrem at least was good ar managing harem, and she even was active in political affairs. Mahidevran couldn’t do any of these things. And Mahidevran was nothing to Suleyman anymore, he stopoed seeing her after he met Hurrem. So really it makes no sense. The writing in the whole show was off.
