my uncle lost his roof during the hurricane andrew. rebuilt and still lives there near homestead.

I drove to see the damage and was so sad I turned around back to west palm beach.. The ocean is very warm in New York this summer so any eastern state is in danger.

I’m from Brevard county Fl. Was 12 yrs old when Andrew hit Broward county. We got a cat 2-3 in Brevard and that was bad. I now live in the southern tier of Ny , we don’t experience to much here. But did have a tropical depression last year go over

I had to work at Cypress Gardens when Andrew and Felix and other hurricanes in Florida Please go by the mayor's if they put in evacuations

Now what I want to know is what do you do with all that garbage? Can you take the wood from the debris and build new homes? Where do you put all that garbage that is mold infested

Riiight. We lived in Homestead when Andrew hit. It was a hard time, but doable. I'm pretty sure more people died in NYC on 9/11 than have died in Florida hurricanes in the past 50 years. Everybody everywhere has some sh*t to deal with at some point. Choose your poison. PS. I was visiting a friend in Manhattan when Hurricane Gloria hit L.I. in 1985. You aren't immune.😉
