Hurricane Beryl approaches the Yucatan Peninsula - Live Coverage

Hurricane Beryl became a historic storm this week as it barrelled through the Windward Islands and became a Category 5 storm in the Caribbean Sea. Severe impacts occurred in the Grenadines, who witnessed their strongest ever hurricane landfall, followed by the Atlantic's earliest Category 5 hurricane peak. On Wednesday the storm impacted Jamaica as a Category 4 hurricane, bringing significant impacts.
The storm has weakened quite considerably, but still remains a low end Category 3 hurricane. The storm is expected to hit the Yucatan Peninsula early tomorrow morning as a Category 1 or Category 2 hurricane, with hurricane impacts likely in the Mexico/Texas border region on Monday.
