What an incredible and beautiful twisted road you got to drive. I'm both happy for you but so jealous.

Hopefully you will allow a BRZ tS to join the group. That is, if the manufacturer ever gets around to building it. But then, my wait has not been as long as many people have waited for their Emiras.

yeah, if you're anything shy of three years, then it's shorter wait than the Emira. Any idea when you'll get it?

@Life411 The car I ordered actually arrived at the dealership last month on schedule. The dealer called me the week before it arrived and told me it would be delayed for another month. They were mistaken. It arrived on time, on a Saturday. It was getting a lot of attention immediately. A new salesman that was working the weekend somehow missed the fact that the car was ordered by a customer and sold it to someone who just happened to be there and saw it and wanted it. I have seen some of the paperwork since the manufacturer has actually been emailing it to me, and my name, address, telephone number, and email address is on every piece of paperwork associated with that car. It is hard to explain how that got missed, but the car was sold to someone else. The window to order the 2024 tS was closing the week I ordered mine back in the spring so this car could not be replaced. They tried to locate a car, and they did but it was not what I ordered. Right after I got the telephone call informing me that my car has been sold I checked online to try to ascertain two things. First of all was this gen of BRZ/GR86 going to be made in 2025, and second of all would there be a tS version offered. One reason that I quickly ordered my tS when I did was that I had an opportunity to drive a GR86 and I actually fit. I could not get my hands on a manual though and after being informed by several dealers that they could not locate what I want (a Trueno) and cannot order it either, I switched my search to the BRZ tS which is essentially the same thing as a Trueno. The rumor mill around that time was full of rumors that the 2nd Gen BRZ/GR86 was about to be replaced. While the first two generations of this platform were small simple lightweight sports coupes, there were rumors that this was about to change drastically, so I wanted to secure one before that happened. It turns out that the second generation will be made again in 2025, and the tS package is available again. So, I told the dealer (who did not actually know this yet) and they checked on it, and we were able to reorder my exact spec, but for 2025. Oddly enough, the projected wait time is much shorter this time, and they say I should have my car by Christmas. I have purposely not mentioned what dealership because I am not here to drag them, but they have really tried to make up for the mistake and while we were there dealing with this issue, they made it worth my while to let my wife upgrade her 2024 Outback Wilderness to the most loaded down 2025 Outback Wilderness I have ever seen. So yes, mistakes were made, but they really are trying to make up for it.

@@Life411 It is looking like December at this point. I should have had it in September but, there was a major SNAFU at the dealership. They are trying to make it right though, so in spite of a pretty bad screw-up, I still feel good about my dealer. If I do get it by the end of the year, that puts me at about 10 months. I have gone from waiting for one of the last tS cars of 2024, to waiting for one of the first of 2025. My spec will be almost identical to my previous one, except I did go ahead and upgrade to the short throw STI shifter. I was on the fence about that before, since reviewers have said that it is barely a noticeable improvement over the short throw shifter that the car would have if I did not opt for the STI shifter. I decided to get it anyway.
